  1. When the early voting poll is at a church I would think people would have enough sense not to cover the place up with their campaign signs. There was no less than twenty signs in front of Poplar Springs Church. Very tacky! I suppose the idea was to not leave a space for the other candidates to put a sign. If this is the only way you feel you can win, maybe you should re-think running for office. I can only imagine what Paulding County will look like after a year with this guy at the wheel.
  2. In 2010 I supported Will Avery because I know he is much more intelligent and much more honest than Braddock. (Sorry if that insults you Will since my dog meets that criteria). Typically I am going to vote for the best Republican. But when the Republican is someone like Braddock I have no reservations in voting for a good person that happens to be a Democrat. Now we have a good person running against Bradoock that IS a Republican. It will be interesting to see if the people in Paulding County have any ethics......(or brains).
  3. I would be glad to bush hog the property close to me if the bank would give me permission. I have a feeling they would never do that because of the liability. So I am about to start calling the marshal's office to see if they can force the bank to clean the place up.
  4. Anyone that is not current on ALL of their taxes should not be allowed to hold an elected office. If you are not responsible enough to pay your taxes in a timely fashion, you are not worthy of representing me, period. I don't care if you are just a sorry ass like the current office holder or if you are a victim of the economy like the candidate. You liquidate what you have to liquidate to get your taxes current or you stay out of politics until you get them paid. There is a word for this behavior. It is called narcissism.
  5. Is Ms. Galloway from Paulding County? I know her husband is from Blue Ridge, the same place that Speaker Ralston is from. I think it is about time to re-capture the Paulding Republican Party from the Galloways.
  6. You are right. And I hate those damn waffle fries. And why don't all the stored have those fried peach pies like the Dwarf House?
  7. The important question about ChicfilA: Why does the food taste so much better at the original store in Hapeville?
  8. Geez! Stop with the blue font already. You really got to hate it when someone has enough money to not be politically correct any longer.
  9. I believe some people are just plain stupid. I'm serious.
  10. I respect anyone that takes a stand, whether I agree with their stand or not.
  11. Yes sir. Kind of confusing. There was some family land involved but not owned by me. That is owned by my wife's cousin and her husband now. Our property is close but not involved.
  12. You obviously have me confused with someone else. I don't own any property impacted by that road. But if you can find a deed with my name on it I will gladly take it.
  13. We did vote down the School Bond once. Then outside money was brought in by Jerry Shearin to force it on us on the second double jeopardy vote. Paulette Braddock played a pert in that as well. Cost Shearin his job but he made his owners happy.......for a minute.
  14. Yeah BOY! You and LPPT are way the hell smarter than all us dumbass hillbillies. Now you have belittled me to the point of where I am going to vote yes for this wonderful tax. Because if you and LPPT say it is a good thing, who am I to argue? Just kidding. I AM STILL VOTING NO. But I get a kick out of people that talk down their noses to me.
  15. I am going to keep my pennies. It is not my duty to give my money to someone so that their industry provides them a living.
  16. I can't watch the entire video. Where was the $10 Million oversight?
  17. I intend to put a little more thought into it than that. I'm not voting out a good incumbent for someone I don't feel is capable of doing the job.
  18. Yeah. I saw that the other day. Drove by the rock quarry out on Mulberry Rock Road (I think that is the road) and they have signs out supporting it. All these people are very blatant because voters have always approved the 1% sales taxes. Now they are all getting worried that MOST of us aren't as stupid as they gave us credit for being. I have never seen politicians try to re-position themselves like they are doing. Hell, even Nathan stopped giving Bill Heath a reach around long enough to say he was getting rid of the 400 toll.....in 18 months. Reminds me of Bruce Harris sayin
  19. Really? I am no OPEC expert but if there was a substantial decrease in the oil demand there would be a substantial decrease in the price of crude oil (remember the old supply and demand theory from Economics 101?). At this point fuel taxes could be raised to an amount that would provide the funds without destroying the economy, which is what is going to happen if the government keeps the income taxes and fees and the ignorant voters keep giving themselves consumption taxes. It has got to be either / or. We can't be taxed both ways.
  20. Of course Scott Green is going to have nothing but good things to say about the TSPLOST, it's job security for him. Come to think of it EVERYONE that it preaching about what a grand idea it is stands to profit from it. Eff you people, go out and make a living like the rest of us and stop mooching off the tax payers.
  21. Actually that is debatable. If Trayvon was beating Zimmerman's head against the sidewalk, Trayvon wasn't unarmed. "Under-armed" maybe, but if a person is assaulting you with their fists, their fists ARE the weapon.
  22. Just the race baiters. Al and Jesse. Jesse needs t be home trying to get the crack monkey of his son's (the senator from Illinois) back. I really don't think they have a case.
  23. I like that too. And his daddy didn't have to create it for him. That is impressive.
