If someone KNOWINGLY TAKES something that doesn't belong to them. I have seen people that think this means as long as nobody else knows they took something it is okay. If a person can take something that doesn't belong to them and not feel guilty it just means that the person is a thief.

That's the excuse thieves (especially Christian thieves) like to use. Here is the litmus test for stealing: Does it belong to YOU? If not, it is stealing when you take it. The way to prevent the next person from taking it is you give it to the cashier or the store manager. It's not a matter of whether you get locked up or not. It is a matter of taking something that doesn't belong to you. If stealing doesn't bother you then you are a thief. Plain and simple.

I'm surprised that all Heath promised you was a traffic light. You could have probably gotten a promise to sit at the right hand of The Father out of him this time of the year. What Heath promises and what he delivers are not always the same. Like I have said before. Both of them suck. You're bad wrong. You really shouldn't put out dangerous information like that. I don't do mold remediation but I am in a business that is closely related to this. I have been involved in some mold lawsuits. The OP needs to let the bank hire the remediation and have it certified mold free. These people will also be able to determine the cause and make the necessary repairs on the banks dime. NO MATTER HOW GOOD THE DEAL IS YOU COULD LOSE YOUR BUTT DEALING WITH THIS. DON'T DO IT!!!!

Don't close. The current owner (I'm guessing the bank) is responsible for that. That is why you paid for an inspection. For your benefit I would have a professional remediation company do the work. Be sure you get a sample of their warranty to review up front (before they start the work). This will give you some leverage down the road if it re-appears or if they were to miss some. Check them out through referrals because not everyone that claims to be experts are actually certified.
