BILL CLINTON.........YOU LOVE HIM OR YOU HATE HIM
feelip replied to lowrider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Yep. Clinton will be remembered as the poll president. Or should that be pole president? -
Don't know what planet you live on, but $12 an hour is not what I consider a "high wage". Sounds good until you start seeing the real numbers. I'm sure Costco has one or two employees per store that are in the six figure salary, but the average workers are knocking down about $12 an hour. You have the wrong trucking answer AND the wrong trucking question Slick.
-
If the answer is to stifle corporations so that they don't invest their money in this country or they move their operation out of the country, WTF was the question?

No things sacred on pcom.

Great intentions. And it should be used to protect emergency workers and not used as a revenue enhancement tool. Hiram has been abusing this law. Might be time for a little investigation since these expensive tickets started being written about the same time the city government went stupid.
-
That's not what the law says. And moving over "regardless" is going to cause wrecks. Evidently the Hiram cops are getting their law info from tv.
-
If I put a dash cam in my vehicle can the video be used in court?

The same thing happened to a friend a few weeks ago. It might be interesting to see just how many of these tickets they have written of late. And if I remember correctly the "move over law" doesn't say you have to move over. It is either move over OR slow to the speed limit or below. I'm sure someone will take the time to find the OCGA, I'm not. This is worth keeping an eye on just to keep the Hiram PD honest. Don't want another Powder Springs PD.

Hell, call Surepip. He'll eat 'em.

My niece answered the door when she was about three and it was the JWs making their monthly stop. Obviously she had heard my sister say things when the Jehovah Witnesses came to the door. With nothing between her and the JWs but the screen door she yelled to my sister "MOM, it's the damn Hovies."

Never thought about that. These devices were implemented on some ramps in the Atlanta area at one time. I remember them at some of the ramps on I-75 at either Howell Mill or Northside Drive.

Thursday, Powder Springs.

I am thinking they were $1.79 a pound in the two packs. And they are pretty well trimmed. Inject them with apple juice and take them off the heat when the internal temp hits 200. I smoke 'em heavy for four hours, wrap them tight in heavy foil and wait to hit 200 degrees, usually about four more hours. You should find a better price on that quantity.

Sam's. Just did two and a brisket last week. They were great.

Good! If the SOB was running from the police and killing innocent people I hope he burned a little before he died. Cops need to start shooting these lowlifes when they try to run.

A load of that historical dirt wiped it out.

I don't remember 96 Rock being a part of the raft race. When it first began it was Gary McKee and WQXI (aka: Quixie in Dixie). It was an AM station, 790. This was all we listened to in high school until 96 FM came along. Now we thought that was high tech having rock music on FM. Everyone went out and bought FM adapters that plugged into their 8 track players. I loved the story about the raft race. I did the first one but I can't remember how many I actually was in. And the analogy of falling down the stairs and landing on your feet was pretty darn accurate. Those were some good tim

My senior year in high school I drove down to the station and got some of the 96 rock butterfly decals.

All that needs is a fried egg.

Which war were you in Eddie?

Never have forgotten him. I have always wished that Lyndon Johnson's sorry ass could have been in Calley's shoes for a 12 month tour so we could have seen what that no good son of a bitch was made of. What Calley did was wrong. Why he did it should have kept him from being prosecuted. just my opinion

Good for you. I quit in May of 2003 after my dentist scared me with biopsy talk. I love that stuff but I know if I put one pinch in my mouth today, by the end of the week I would be using a can a day.

Hey Zoo. There is a book titled "The Soldier's Story" you should read. It will give you an idea of what it was like in some of the nastier battles of Vietnam.

The BP med I used to take made me itch like crazy. I had to take a 24 hour Allegra every day. The good news is I lost 20 pounds and I don't take any of it any more.
