I am keeping my grandchildren this summer and I remember there being a post on here last year ablut 278 Movies in Hiram offering free movies for kid's on Thursday morning? Does anyone know if they are doing it this year? If so starting when and what movies? I looked at the web site, but didn't see anything? Did anyone go last year? How was it? Thanks, Nana22

I read in one of the local newspapers last year about there being a grandparents support group that meets at the Paulding Senior Citizen Center, I called several times and left messages and no-one ever called back? Does anyone know if they still meet. Has anyone ever been? I beleive they meet the first Monday in the month, but it was at night. Having my grandson makes it hard to get away at night. Does anyone know of any other support groups? I am amazed at how many grandparents are raising or help to raise there grandchildren. Sometimes it would help to have other people to bounce ide

I have seen commercials for a goverment assisted cell phone. My mother in law is in her late 70's and I worry about her when she takes out the garbage or goes to the mail box and such. I was thinking about checking on this for her since she lives in section 8 housing. Has anyone used any other these programs for the elderly. Thoughts and concerns would be greatly appreciated! You might want to try Color Us Kids on Charity Drive (Baker's Bridge) they were always willing to work with us. My grandson stayed there for 4 years!

Does anyone know of a good dentist that will work with an older person (77) for dental care? I recently moved my mother in law down here and our regular dentist says she needs 3 crown and 3 extractions. She not in any pain, and I would like to have a second opinion. She is on a fixed income and really doesn't have the money for the recommended dental work? Any suggestions? Thanks, Nana22

You are correct! The City of DALLAS, did not help with the event on the square. It was the Downtown Merchant's Association,( but in my opinion) It would not had happened if it hadn't been for the hard work and dedication of Tina And Bobby Howell. They own Somewhere in Time Antiques in Dallas. I understand they were the ones who really did most of the foot work. . Thanks, for all you hard work guys It was AWESOME. THe live Naticity in Dallas is Sat. Night From 6-9:30. A lot of items are free....................I know there will be a charge for the carriage ride past that I'm not sure. This is a WOINDERFUL family event that we look forward to every year!
