I came on here to see if anyone knows what is going on with West Metro. Went by Friday afternoon and they were closed. Sign on the door said that "Pop Retired, closed. Called the deer cooler and they said the market is closed for the winter. Thought you guys would be talking about it. I have not bought meat from anywhere other than West Metro since they opened. I can't go back to grocery store meat now. What to do?

Crrekside has a driving range, Greystone country club has driving range, and West Pines in Douglasville has a driving range. All public and fairly close.

I have eaten at the Maco's in Douglasville. Thought it was pretty good. Pretty good white pizza. Not a pizza like Mellow Mushroom or Johnnys but better than Little Caesars or evem Papa Johns, Pizza Hut in my opinion.

Because I was born in Ohio. Several of my aunts went to Ohio State. I was raised in an Ohio State Family. That is why I care. Good Enough?

My thoughts exactly. Most everyone out there picked Ohio State to lose to Oregon and Alabama both yet they showed up and beat them both. Must be a Bama fan. Go Bucks.

I second this. Fuji is pretty darn good and very reasonably priced as well. Fuji and Mellow mushroom are the only two things in Paulding we look forward to eating out.

I came home tonight and there were a half dozen sheriffs cars, fire department rescue truck, and other emergency vehicles in front of a house at the front of the subdivision. Anyone know anything?

This statement here can now have another thing Mr. Ward did wrong added and that is used marijuana before getting into a rocket with wheels. Tho OP said plainly that he/she knows it is their choice to give or not. The point was what are we teaching our youth? I agree whole heartedly that they should be EARNING funds to get them where they are going. This country has become reliant on what can you give me rather than what can I do to earn my way. I have worked for everything I ever wanted since I was 13 years old. My parents did all they could to get us what we needed and had little extra to give us all we wanted. We did always have what we needed though and I am appeciative everyday for that. I just wonder why that same work ethic

I believe Gulf Seafod Market is what you speak of. Never been in it either but have heard the same as you that it has pretty high quality fresh shrimp. As I understand you can buy it to take and cook or they will cook it for you. Again, my staement is just hearsay from friends and co workers. Have not tried it myself yet.

Dr. Sharomi and his staff are the best. We love them. Reasonable prices for both veterinary and grooming.

Try Johnny's BBQ in Powder Springs. I am sure I saw them in there.

The Cajun Cookin was that way for at least me. There were lots of rave reviews on here so my wife, a friend of mine, and I went and tried it. I think my wife and I alone spent about $35 or $40 on our meal. It was not very good at all and not much food for that price. Heck, we could have gone somwhere fancy like Long John Silvers for that kind of money.

I drove it twice this weekend. We are off of Ridge Rd. so we cut across Laird Rd and got on the old part from Laird. It takes no time to get to the shopping district in Hiram this new route. I think I like it.

Snowing big ol gorilla sized flakes here in South Paulding.
