Let's put our thick skins back on. Let's stop relying on moderators to make us "feel better" for nixing an asshole who only wants trouble. I remember a time when this site was composed of stalwart people who stood their ground, and always maintained a professional prose in replies to those who only wanted to bait a field for poaching. The real PCOM is better than that. And I challenge every one of them to show their face and reclaim what was once the most awesome county forum in the states!!! Subby/Glenn/Stubby, Snubby, Scooby, ..........and yes, even sphyncter was mentioned a time or

I love you Blondie!! Think I'll start a similar post, although it may be more corrosive, yet high yielding in the leftover content, after the fire has died down.

I really need to get this sold fast because my daughter starts college next week and something tells me it's gonna cost me some money. So......I will settle on $350 cash. Although there is no hood, this is still a rather nice riding mower with the bag and all that. 400 would be a steal, IMO. For 375 (an extra 25 dollars) I will even deliver it locally. 678-315-8794

I'm almost finished with a black Yard Machines Lawn Tractor. 12.5 HP Briggs flathead engine, rebuilt carb, new fuel line, filter, etc. 38" cutting deck, 7 speed automatic drive, good tires all around, WITH BAGGING!! I just replaced the front end with a barely used, heavier duty front end that'll last a LONG time. The only think missing is the hood. I'll be asking $500 FIRM for this. I have a long list of buyers, so the first one that can at least put $200 down on it, it's theirs, as long as they can have the rest of the money within 3-4 days. I will even deliver it for free!!! 678-315-8794

I've replaced quite a few engines, especially towards the end of the season. You'd be surprised how many people don't check the oil. To remove your engine and replace it with a known good equivalent usually runs about $350 with me....as low as 300 and as high as 400, depending on the model and how much labor is involved. Of course, a used engine won't carry the guarantee a new would, but in 7 years, I haven't installed a bad engine yet. I get mine from a reputable vendor for about $200 like the one you have. I inspect them and treat the cylinder and head with some break-in tricks of my trade t

Phones's gotten quiet the past couple of days. This is a great time to call! -
Folks, it's official now. After moving in with my GF, I decided to just relocate the shop too. My new location close to Ridge Road and Hwy 61, not far from the Publix. Give me a call if you need to drop off any mowers, and I'll give you more specific directions. As always, I owe a debt of gratitude to all my customers who have brought me their business over the years. It's been a pleasure meeting so many wonderful people in our community, some of whom I have forged some really great friendships with. I will continue to offer my services, as I have for going on 8 years, and do my best to ke

FIRST check the fuse. There's a fuse on all charging systems. Could be the diode (rectifier most likely on an ExMark). A multimeter will suffice to test. Secondly, faulty contact in ignition switch, and lastly the stator on the engine could be shorted out...in that order. Hope this helps.

Thank God you get it...and preach it. It's all we have left.....the TRUTH.

Most of the poll reflects my own personal opinions, with the exception of preferring Picard over Kirk....simply because Picard's role more accurately portrays the role befitting a real captain; delegating authority, rather than being a one man rescue team. But hey.....we ALL loved Kirk!! While it's a bit odd for the captain to go first, so to speak, it made for a lot of great fun! Great post. Got news for yall...the War on Drugs is just like all the other wars that American War, Inc. fights all over the world. It's all about robbing what's left in government coffers by the rich elite, as we were warned by Eisenhower back in the day, just as the Kennedys were assassinated for trying to thwart war efforts in Vietnam and suppressing the Military Industrial Complex. It won't be much longer before we lose the last generation that understood when government was a GOOD thing, before being perverted by Nazis. Yes, Nazis were born here, not in Germany. (Eugenics were also born h

I'm predominatently left handed. The only thing I do right handed is swing a bat or golf club. I also use my rigth hand extensively more than my left when playing piano. Oh yeah...I can also write my signature backwards (where it reads in a mirror).

I'm looking at a neat idea but want to get feedback first
subby1 replied to subby1's topic in Business NEWS
Thanks for the input folks. As one poster said, "google is your friend"....The idea is primarily my finance partner's idea. Rather than dismiss the idea outright, I can direct her to this thread. She has some other great ideas, and is really wanting me to succeed, and I appreciate that. The last thing I'd want is for her to invest money in something that won't give her a return. I believe this is one of those ideas that would not help her at all. Thanks folks! -
Mine was 66 right and 34 left. (I'm left handed too).

Have you tried craigslist? That's been my best resource for things like that. My bone yard guy doesn't have much at the first of the season.
