  1. As the 40th member of PCOM in its inception, I've seen many phases. While I understand that FaceBook has affected not only pcom, but virtually every site on the internet, I have found that DRAMA is what draws most Americans. That said, this thread is about one thing and one thing only. Scan and post an insane photo of yourself. (you can use a less liked former wife, friend, co worker) and claim it to be you. I really don't give a crap. I just wanna play a goofy online thingy here with yall. It's more fun than you know when you think about how we all live in the same area!!! p.s. I did
  2. Benjamin and Sheridan were the same company in the beginning. The older models are almost identical, except Sheridan focused on mainly .20 cal as the all around best for target and hunting. Benjamin remained with the standard .177 or .22. I don't think Sheridan is in business anymore, and Benjamin got bought out by Crosman. It would be tough to find a REAL Benjamin these days. That said, Crosman makes a break barrel spring piston rifle now. A friend bought one and had me sight it in for him, and I was really impressed with the accuracy. It would shoot tighter groups than some of my European ri

  4. Thanks, and yes I do. Really nothing negative at all I can recall about my dad. To this day, the finest man i ever knew.
  5. Thanks folks. And while I'll surely miss him, my own personal loss pales in comparison to the multitude of gains he afforded so many good and appreciative people.
  6. My dad was noticing some problems with his speech in mid December. Being the survivor of a massive brain tumor about 30 years ago (he was given a less than 5% chance of survival then) he told me he was almost certain he was dealing with it again. By the time mom could get him to the hospital for an MRI, he was right. It was another tumor, and was the size of a grapefruit. He knew what he was up against, and so did me and my family. This one took him out of this world. So basically, in the time span of a month, my dad was gone. He was a just and Godly man, and had endured a lot of pain for many
  7. I've been an avid air gun collector since my dad bought me my first Benjamin .177 when I was 12. I was begging for a Crosman pump rifle, then on Christmas, I opened up the box and pulled this thing out. I was sorta baffled at first. Never seen anything like it before, either. Also found out I could barely pump it more than 3 times (8 is the max). Turns out it made the Crosman I wanted look like a Red Ryder. That's what got me interested in air guns. I started ordering Beeman catalogs and found that over in Europe where firearms were illegal, they got around it by making super-powered air guns.
  8. Jennifer Warnes. Oh yeah!!! She started out as just "Jennifer", as I recall. Beautiful voice!
  9. Also sang two theme songs from two top grossing films of all time, Officer and A Gentleman, and Dirty Dancing.
  10. Damn!!! Bad news! Loved that guy!

  20. Well, this thread seems to have gotten a life of its own. Kinda makes me wanna go get a pedicure!
  21. Blisters shore can hurt!! I mean...ingrown toenails, that is. I used to have that problem too. It would be nice if poop could hit the fan, and we all jump in, mindful of our abilities to razz without stirring personal oddities...that we all possess whether we think so or not. Lowrider....honey....always cut stright across the toenail, avoiding hedging the sides like we always wanna do. Take a Q-tip, and twirl it in between the nail and toe until all the cotton is gone for the Q-tip. Leave it there a day or two. It'll heal right up.
  22. No mam....but I've had a lot of life kick me in my family jewels. I thought it was time to reflect. Could be a dead horse, I dunno. But it seemed like a worthwhile effort. If Pubby moves this, then I'll make him eat (whatever he hates the most) and make his family watch!!).... He knows I love him. I do miss the fun though. Call this an attempt at reclaiming our collective local soul-structure.
