  1. From most women's perspectives the fridge is a necessity, the wheels are in all likely hood not. Most of us do not consider household appliances on the same level as a purchase for "our selves". You may be about to find yourself in some hot water or she may retaliate! LOL Just sending an FYI your way. I have always told my husband that household appliances are purchases for both of us to use and not just for myself, therefore please do not give them to me as a gift. Thankfully he understands.
  2. WOW! Thank you Media Man! I am going to print this up and put it on our fire/gun safe as a reminder. Ours is in our basement for this very reason. We have a very small, portable fire safe for small items. I think I will have my husband make room for it in the large gun safe and put our paperwork, photos, etc. inside. That way those items will be protected by TWO firewalls. What is the temperature where ammo is no longer safe? I know this will vary with the caliber and even the brand but an estimated temperature would be good to know.
  3. Keep important papers and pictures in the place of your choosing in your home. For us it is our gun safe which has fire protection. You should also copy all of these important papers and pictures to keep a second set in a bank safe deposit box or with a good friend or family member who also has a fire safe. That way if anything happens you will have a 2nd set of your important papers and photos. For those of you that have children you might want to include their immunization records in with their birth certificates. These items can be paper but they can also be photographed and placed on thumb
  4. I agree. The very first time we ever tried to file electronically it was instantly rejected (within less than 24 hours) as my husband's birthday not matching his SS#. I double checked everything and tried to submit it again but it was still rejected. He had to take his SS card and a certified copy of his birth certificate with a picture I.D. to the SS office in order for them to correct the error because it was the wrong birth date in THEIR SYSTEM! He was almost 40 years old by the time the error was caught and he has had his SS # since he was a child and his passport for a couple of decades!
  5. I thought the mail quit running on Saturdays? Has that not already went into effect?
  6. I have always dreamed in color. I don't believe I have ever dreamed of flying but I am scared of heights, so that makes sense. However, I FEEL everything very intensely in my dreams. I have been stabbed in many of them and trust me that hurts like he**.
  7.:   You guys are hilarious! I especially loved what Jenilyn said. It was nice to look outside and see it in the middle of the night.
  8. Who you gonna call? GHOSTBUSTERS!! LOL
  9. I think this was a good idea. Although I am not sure how much their assets came to considering they lived in a rental home and have legal fees to pay. At least the children did not have to testify. "By pleading guilty, the Comers avoided a trial and possible sentences of more than 100 years behind bars. As a condition of the plea deal, the Comers also must forfeit all of their assets, which will go into a trust fund for their three children. Half of their money will go to Mitch and the remaining to the couple's two younger daughters. - See more at: http://www.ajc.com/n...WatABk0I.dp
  10. You can get quotes from different shops and even different Chevy shops. I bet they will try to be lower than each other. Then choose the lower quote or who you feel most comfortable going to for the work. I wish you the best!
  11. I think Michael's Craft Store use to teach classes but I don't know if they still do. Call and check with them.
  12. Yeah, it's been called "tornado alley" in this area since before the 70s by a few. When the big outbreak happened during the 70s (76' I think?) then that outbreak pretty much confirmed the name. Besides, the National Weather Service is who confirms these type of weather zones, not the Weather Channel.
  13. I've had the black 48" from the above link and the black square table in my link for years. I purchased them both at Walmart without chairs and I am very happy with them. Check around. This square one, which is like one of mine, is $29. Walmart black square card table
  14. I have seen them in the furniture section of Walmarts.
  15. Did the can of food have any kind of dairy in it like the new cheese flavors that are out? I can't feed it to my cats because it will give them diarrhea in a heartbeat. If it was one of those cheese flavored foods then give them plenty of water and time with their litter box. They should be ok by tomorrow. Most adult cats are intolerant to dairy.
  16. My husband said that it was probably over the Mexican or Canadian border within 24 hours of being stolen. Unfortunately I have to agree with him.
  17. I use to get the JCP coupons in the mail all of the time as I am a Rewards member. However, I have not seen any lately. Where are you guys finding the $10 off coupons?
  18. I have insomnia but I can't sleep AT ALL when I am too hot and that is exactly how memory foam mattresses make me feel. I love my sleep number mattress because I can adjust the firmness according to how my body feels. I've had my sleep number mattress for years and I have never had a leak.
  19. I really don't believe this "study" can be accurate. It is a known fact that sunshine boosts serotonin levels which increases feelings of happiness and well-being. Seeing that the southeastern U.S. receives more sunshine than northern states, especially during winter, it would stand to reason that southern states would feel happier.
  20. Well that sucks. I renewed mine on 4/12 and paid for the 8 year renewal, so apparently I have to renew it again. Are they going to charge me to renew it again?
  21. Gosh it is gorgeous! I love mustangs. I will definitely keep an eye out. I am in the East Paulding area.
  22. Prayers said for a quick healing and an accurate diagnosis.
  23. The heat was just about unbearable for me! However, I kept doing it because of the boost it gave me energy wise and it worked as a natural anti-depressant for me. Everyone could tell a huge difference in my energy and mood. Then I started watching freckles and moles on my back and became worried, so I cut WAY back on the visits. After that the salon I visited moved and became an inconvenience for me. I do miss that boost. I could only stay in the bed at half the normal amount of minutes or I would burn, but I found that frequent visits worked better for that issue than longer visits did.
