  1. Here is the website for GA Tax Free Holiday 2009: https://etax.dor.ga.gov/salestax/holiday/2009/index.aspx
  2. He gave me one last night too. Thank you Boss!
  3. Benadryl has the same sleep medication in it that is in PM medicines like Advil PM. Diphenhydramine. If you want a herbal then try Valerian. It comes in capsules but smells like feet. It does however work best for some people. Personally I have tried it all. Sometimes I get a little relief from my insomnia with Ambien CR AND Advil PM. Good luck!
  4. I drove up and spoke with a customer service rep who was standing outside on his smoke break. He said there is a "soft opening" before the grand opening. He said the 26th for the soft opening though, so they may have changed the date. He said the soft opening is open to the public but it is basically for traning their reps. Then on the 31st is the grand opening. I am sure I will be there with "bells on". LOL When is the tax free weekend?
  5. I have it but it seems to be mild and thankfully it has never hit me while driving. It only seems to hit me when walking. It will last from 10 - 45 seconds and I have to lean against a wall or counter, sometimes head down, then it will stop. I have lost my balance and walked into the walls on several occasions, usually in my hallway though. I have never taken anything for it, mostly because I am on medications for other things that are much worse. I also have had the dizziness and vertigo for many years before starting any medications for my other conditions. For the exercise with your he
  6. We got there about 7pm tonight. The fireworks and crafts were no where near as good as I remember from about 15 years ago, but hey, it was free.

  8. Thank you CC. I was also able to print a coupon for admittance fee.
  9. Where is the gun show Saturday? Hubby's birthday is tomorrow and he is looking for a .45 to add to his collection.
  10. I think Paulding Recycling Center accepts most electronics.
  11. Maybe he can see in the dark, like a cat?
  12. I love you guys and AGG, but I am suddenly feeling very lonely in my corner tonight, so I will say goodnight and sweet dreams to all.
  13. Little Shop of Horrors? Hehe
  14. Actually I have missed his insomniac threads here lately. Welcome back all.
  15. Yes I still see them every night around 3 or 4am. It's a bit creepy.
  16. But when you take 6 prescriptions or more a day plus over the counter meds, it is ridiculous to carry ALL those prescriptions around, especially when each bottle is for a full month and most cannot be left in a vehicle because the temperatures can degrade the medication. Also a lot of people NEED those pill organizers because of memory problems. I think if the officer is suspicious then write a ticket and have you show up in court. If you can prove that all the medications are your legal prescriptions or over the counter doses, then you should not be fined or jailed.
  17. Umm the stickers MAY be considered vandelism as it could damage the vehicle. I would call the SO and ask. I do like the card idea though as I have left MANY notes for people parked so close that I couldn't get into my driver's side. Usually it's an SUV or other tall vehicle and it's obvious most of the drivers will look OUTWARD but not DOWNWARD, because my car is so close to the ground they do not see me while parking or driving. This is a BIG problem for me. I also leave a note if I see that someone's tire is flat or almost flat.
  18. I guess so, since I tend to be a nudist at home!
  19. Your medications should stay in your original prescription bottles and be placed into a ziploc baggie. I am not sure about the lancet. Sorry I can't help there. Instead of placing your meds into a carry on bag, I would suggest you put them into a tote or a purse so that you will have easier access if needed. I have done this many times. My medication, camera, & computer stay with me by my side in a tote. LOL Good luck.
  20. Amen. I drive a sports car and I am partially disabled (never applied for the tag) but I still park and walk the same distance as every one else. It's the attitude of the driver, not what they drive.
  21. I kept a very close eye on the recall list and JIF was never on it.
  22. We have used Cooks Pest Control for about 5 or 6 years. I am sure in that time our original contract has expired, but they still come out every month and our rates have only risen by maybe $7 in all those years. They spray around the outside perimeter of our house, refill bait stations, and treat all ant hills. They also leave little flags for us to put out if we see a problem, just place a flag over the problem area. Once my husband found some kind of hornets nest and they attacked him. Cooks has a policy to come out and treat within 24 hours if a bed of biting or stinging insects is found. T
  23. I go to Dr. Thurschwell with Marietta Eye Clinic near Kennestone. I have seen him for years. Yes they have several other "satellite" offices in the area. There are SEVERAL other doctors at the Kennestone location, so I am sure one is pediatric. Just call and ask.
  24. I would love to go tonight to Aerosmith and ZZ Top, but I wouldn't want to go alone. The upcoming Def Leppard show might be good. I seen Van Halen at Lakewood sometime around 95, it was the best concert. Memories.
  25. Yeah I've noticed it's been pretty dull at night lately. Where has everyone gone?
