It is becoming a thing of the past. Not many people have it now.

We are not into perfect attendance either. We don't like unexcused days, for one thing we are school choice. Since we were under a state of emergency, we will not have to make them up, I understand. So I was told it should not be counted against us. I wanted to send an excuse to school Monday saying we checked out early because we used our common sense. My eight grader said, I don't want to carry that, so I wrote another one.

These students will not be counted absent. I meant early, someone can fix it, Thanks

I feel the same way. I just happen to see the folks that were delivering the telephone books. I told they would not throw it in my yard, if they could not put it on my porch to take it with them. They did, and called AT&T, they sent me one on the mail.

After they get in Middle school, they are not pulled out. They are in advance classes. They are still considered venture.

Thank you so much. Cliff is a very good person, I have known him for 17 years, and he takes his job very serious. The snow came in faster than we thought it was. Seems like the storms that come from Ala. come faster, and are worse than what comes from the North. I am sure Cliff had in the back of his head all the people that complained when we closed because it was cold. He is human. Another thing if all these folks that knew it was coming early had stayed at home, they would not have been on the roads.

If Cobb is closed, we probably will be too.

I want to ask one thing. If you all knew it was coming, why did you go to work? If you hadn't been on the roads , the buses might have got the kids home. Or better still you could have picked them up. Works both ways. Why does everybody want someone else to take care of their kids?

I have been listening to the scanner. Sheriff Gulledge and deputies are trying every way to get these kids home. They are saying some roads still are not passable with a 4 wheeler. THEY ARE DOING EVERYTHING THEY CAN DO. If it was mine, I would be finding someway to get her myself.

I think you all should get double pay for today.

I checked mine out too. I think we should start a campaign to get these bus drivers over time for this afternoon.

I live on Hiram Sudie, it is snowing like crazy here. Has been for a couple hours.

Hiram Sudie is bad, the cars are creeping. I feel so sorry for the bus drivers, they still have to drive in this mess. If it snow like it is snowing until six, we will have a foot.
