I'm retired so I am not impacted by job cuts. However, prices are much higher; the value of our house is much lower. I could go on, but I'd say we are not better off even though the negative impact of 0bama's lackluster recovery has been less for us than others.

0bama is a poor excuse for President and so the left must deflect the blame for all his flaws and accuse anyone who criticizes him of being a racist. Not sure what he can do about the price of gas unless he announces that we will begin to drill for oil in places such as ANWR and he approves building the new pipeline from Alberta. This would have a great impact on the price of gasoline.

You are not alone. I can forgive 0bama's naivety regarding the private sector, since, to the best of my knowledge, he has never held a job in the private sector. He is strictly a big government guy. I'm OK with Romney, especially now that he has Ryan as his running mate. Ryan is focused like a laser on government spending and improving the economy. This focus is exactly what we need to turn this country around and avoid the economic disaster to which 0bama is taking us.

Ethanol is a sh*tty fuel. It does not burn well. Note all the carbon deposits on your exhaust tip. Feed corn to the cattle, chickens, and pigs. Cars need gasoline, not ethanol-blend crap.
