  1. If you cook it on the stove top you are going to have smell no matter what you do. Have to turn the overhead fan on high and have a good air purifier in the house. I prefer to bake my salmon with some lemon and salt and pepper.
  2. I am sure the people of SC who get a job are going to disagree with you.
  3. Just goes to prove that there is only two things for certain in life, death and taxes. What is the point in trying to save the environment if you get taxed for doing it.
  4. The decision on where to transfer is normally the hospitals but I probably could have requested another location. Both Paulding and Kennestone are part of WellStar and Kennestone is the preferred cardiac place to go IMHO. Not to mention where my normal cardiologist is. The only thing they told me to do after discharge was to make an appointment with my normal cardiologist. Since the pain has gone away I think it might be difficult to try to find an answer at this time but I do plan on going to see my PCP on a different subject and I will discuss this issue with them at that time. An
  5. Was having severe chest pain and difficulty breathing again so made a trip to Paulding ER Saturday afternoon. Spent 4 hours there before getting transferred to Kennestone for further evaluation. My only complaint is that after they determined it was not the heart with EKG and blood tests, they decided that because of with my previous heart history to send me to Kennestone for further testing. I think that after they determined it was not a heart issue they should have then tried to figure out what was the issue causing me the pain and difficulty breathing. Kennestone basically did
  6. The problem with the "free" stuff is most of them are free to run but if you want to fix things them you have to pay for it. I used AVG PC Tune-up on my PC and the first use was really free. It found and said it fixed a bunch of stuff which I am sure there was a lot wrong with my PC but I can't say if it speed things up or not.
  7. The Volt is really a joke. $40k for a vehicle that only goes about 40 miles on a charge and still uses gas. I might consider a Leaf since you can go about 100 miles on a charge. That at least gets me back and forth to work every day with plenty of charge left over for a trip to the store or the gym.
  8. Don't know about iphone but I have had AT&T for 6 years and never really had any issues. Coverage seems to be as good as anyone else but your mileage might vary. Of course the only reason I have AT&T is because I get a bigger company discount then with the others.
  9. So have you verified that the person is not handicapped? People parking in the handicapped spots when they are not really all that handicapped, or have a serious disability, is really just a frame of mind. I have been given temporary handicap decals before but still never parked in a handicap spot simply because I figured there was worse off people then me and walking a few extra feet was actually going to do more benefit then harm. I worked with a guy who would park in the handicapped spot everyday, he had a permanent decal because if a leg injury, yet he would go out and walk the
  10. Another corporation latching onto the Government teat to stay alive. What the heck are they going to do with 50k cars?
  11. some people need to learn to use Google instead of posting over and over for someone to send them a link to something that a simple Google search finds straightaway. I mean seriously, how hard can it be.
  12. The only draw back of Vonage is you can only attach 1 phone to it. I just use a base and 3 wireless units. Of course the work around for that is to disconnect the outside line where it plugs into your house. Then just plug the line coming out of the modem for Vonage into an available jack and it puts a dial tone on all your other phone jacks. And yes you can set your phone to forward your calls to your cell should there be a issue with the Internet provider or you loose power.
  13. I have been using Vonage for over 5 years now never had any issues what so ever other then they started adding in the regulator fees. It is great if you call outside of the US or Canada because a lot of countries are now free and you can't beat the features. They started a new feature of sending you a text or email with your voice message spelled out, for the most part the computer gets the text right so you don't have to listen to it now. Of course the only draw back as mentioned with VOIP is if your power goes out so does your phone but I have mine on UPS backup and the power rarely
  14. your smart in your fear.
  15. The fact that they just happened to have 3 soccer balls and 3 trash cans all evenly spaced out indicates that is was a setup. He might have actually got the balls in the cans but I am willing to bet it was not the first attempt at it.
  16. Went to the Rome Braves opening night last Thursday with my son, it was his first baseball game. Can't beat the price, best seats available are only $10. ($12.50 with ticketmaster fees). Parking is $4. Only 1 hour away and no traffic and no parking hassles. Can't beat that for some good minor league baseball. Even leaves you some money for a couple $5 beers. Stadium only seats 5000 so it has a nice home town feel and no matter where you sit you are close to the game. We will be attending quit a few more games this season.
  17. Seriously? I guess I have just worked at the wrong places. Most places "tell" you no personal calls while you are working since you are on company time but I have only known a few that actually enforce it unless you are spending a lot of time making personal calls.
  18. First off, criminals are not that smart. Second that is way to much work to do. The "criminal" would have to know in advance that the person they plan to rip off has some stuff worth ripping off to go to that much trouble of monitoring Pcom waiting for someone who posted a pic from their house to then post a notice that they are on vacation or a pic of said vacation provided that they actually posted the picture at the same time that they were on vacation and did not wait till they were back home to upload it. Criminals are not going to go to that much trouble, or have that much patie
  19. Must be a slow day over at the Democratic Underground. I guess she should not have been compensated for her time.
  20. Has it ever been proved that a thief used geotagging to rob a house? The so called "thief" would have to know who you are already to have access to your information in the first place, so they probably already know where you live and that your on vacation without a geotag.
  21. All bets are off if you put the stuff out there where the general public can get to it.
  22. If you secure the top how do you get your beads?
  23. Seriously? new threat? biggest threat online?? telling the bad guy where you live? I understand they did the story to inform people about geotagging, which is not new, but at the same time they have informed the pervs on how to use geotagging. The whole point of posting pics to to show people where you are or what you are doing. If you are posting a pic of your kid in their bedroom or at the park the people you are sharing that picture with already know were you live or how to find you. If you are sharing pictures of your kids with complete strangers then you have bigger proble
  24. Just bugs me to no end when I see the same people day in and out goofing off and not being productive and management does not do anything about it. Then the one or two times I actually try to goof off I get busted for not being productive.
