It's not really an issue of tipping or not tipping. The bottom line is the waitress posted a receipt online for the public to see and the customer never gave her permission to do so. She deserved to be fired. A customer at any restaurant should expect some sort of privacy when it comes to financial matters and how much they spent and/or tipped. That is a matter that should be kept between the customer and the establishment. If she felt she was not paid for her services then she should have resolved the issue in small claims court and not the court of public opinion.

It's not the people going around in the day time I would be worrying about. It's the slow drive down the street in the middle of the night.

American Sniper' author Chris Kyle fatally shot at Texas gun range
HardwareDJ replied to DallasRed's topic in RECENT TOPICS
This is a very touchy subject especially amount the Veterans that I know. And Ron Paul's tweet did not help. You sort of have to questions the methods used in taking a person with PTSD to a firing range. You just do not know the mental state of that person when they hear the gun fire. I know that Chris Kyle thought he was doing the right thing and I applaud him for trying to help out others with PTSD. It is a unfortunate tragedy. -
It is a conspiracy by the American football team 49ers.

Good Lawrd gays in the Boy Scouts??? What's next blacks and females in Augusta? Lawrdy Lawrdy have mercy these American States are going straight to hell.
-
We need to get the Constable on that straight away. If people are to lazy to get off their fat arses we need to legislate them to be thin. Good thing they only do this in the American States. pip pip.

Jolly Good, but if they have a Pound and there is a chocolate bar and a granola bar in the machine which one do you seriously thing they are going to get? I would bet you a 100 pence they go for the chocolate bar 9 times out of 10. pip pip.

They need to limit the day passes from the ghetto.

Bloody well good then mate. Now if we could just apply the same lovely standards to the Universities in Briton maybe we could save the little whipper snappers teeth. Of course they will have to limit the granola type bars to those that do not have any kind of nuts because we don't want someones precious little darling to go into shock. Cheerio pip pip.

Here's a splash of Clorox for the old gene pool
HardwareDJ replied to glassdogs's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Unfortunately this dude still has another testicle and therefore only qualifies for a Darwin Award runner up. But if we are luck his penis will never work again. The gene pool is polluted enough as it is. Cheerio Oh. -
I am surprised this thread has lasted as long as it has. Wish I had its stamina.

Seen that happen to many times while I was in the Army. Usually they just shot themselves in the leg. -
Someone obviously needs a spanking. And so does the child. The employee really had no right to do that and was out of line regardless of the actions of the child. She should have found the "adults" and beat them. I mean seriously, someone takes you kid behind a counter and spanks them with a belt and you have no clue it was going on? Sounds like someone is in line for the parent of the year award.

Jolly good then, now we knew who the neanderthals are. Pip pip.

Well now they know someone lives there. Which doesn't make a lot of sense. As long as the mortgage is current why would they care if the place was occupied or not?? Does not pass the sniff test if you ask me.

Usually there is a sign that says it only applies if workers are present. I tend to play it safe and go the posted limit.

Yes Box 3 is different. So my next question is has it always been this way? If that is the case I was actually made a lot more in the years past then I thought.
-
So the mystery as to why the income in Box 1 of my W2 was much lower then my base pay has been solved. ( I think) Apparently they deduct things like the amount you paid in healthcare premiums from your total wages for the year and that is the number they use for wages earned. This is the first year since they took away our premium pay for working the overnight shift so maybe I just never noticed it before.

Jolly good then, pip pip.

Hold on let me oil my zipper. I don't see how you can expect anyone to take you seriously when we all know you are passing. Pip pip.
