  1. Do you think that Animal will have his hand up Wills butt making Will's mouth move and making Will's statements by throwing his voice? If not than Paulette Braddock will be debating Will Avery, not Animal. What difference does it make who arranges the tables and chairs. I'm sure that their campaigns could come to some sort of agreement on when and where to hold a public forum if both candidates want to get the word out on why they are the best person for the job. I agree that Animal's comment was a back handed slap, but Animal has nothing to do with who I or anybody else will choose to vot
  2. Why would you want Paulette to avoid an open and honest discussion of the topics, state fiscal challenges, and other policies that the voters of district believe to be important? I don't understand how that would be of benefit to the people trying to pick the best person for the job.
  3. I have lost four cousins to suicide. Only one attempted it prior to being successful. I really hope that Glenn gets the help he needs. I can not imagine the despair it would take to make ending your life seem like a plausible solution to your problems. His family has our best wishes.
  4. Possession and the smell in the car are the two best indicators along with any DEC testing. It can be hard to get a conviction on MJ DUI without those three. It is such a shame that this young man apparently chose to drive under the influence and the young man that was killed was not wearing a seatbelt. I hope that other young people in the area take those two lessons away from these tragic misjudgments.
  5. When you hit that quote button, it strongly implies that you are talking directly to someone. I have spoken personally to Will about various subjects, including the Disclosure Report. Some things we agree on, and some we don't. He is probably, no, scratch that, definitely more liberal than I am. But that's OK. I most certainly don't believe that Will is a progressive Democrat. I have voiced my concerns over the role that partisan party politics play under the dome, and still harbor the concern that he will need a great deal of intestinal fortitude to vote his conscience and not toe the li
  6. Does anybody have Michael Moore's number?
  7. Sir, you do not know me from Adam's house cat. I will simply say that your talking out of the wrong end when it comes to whom I have spoken and about what, as well as what my positions are. I will conclude by saying that Will knows exactly who I am, as do many other members of this board on both sides of the fence. We have spoken personally about these and other matters OF SUBSTANCE. Face to Face. You, sir, and Concerned Voter, and other Johnny come lately political party plants are not doing your candidate any favors by generalizing and marginalizing valid concerns of District 19 voter
  8. Maybe Sherin's skylights and palm trees idea wasn't so bad after all.
  9. I did see a Lockheed truck at the Walmart in Marietta. It's probably really convenient for them now.
  10. Walmart has agreed to allow the military to stage there in exchange for using the tunnels as part of their distribution system. There were lots of problems with the tunnel entrance at the Hwy 120 Walmart and that's why all the blasting was going on and there was so much earth moving activity for over two years.
  11. Is that the Fueled Latent Air Transportation Unit System (FLATUS) that we have been hearing so much about. I understand that it is still undergoing emissions testing, and that is the reason for the hold up.
  12. This is the point in the poker game where I would call.
  13. You're right, Stout is no longer an issue. Neither is Richardson, so for goodness sake please give it a rest. This election is between Will and Paulette, not Will and Glen, or Will and Jerry.
  14. I like Will. My point is that little $200 contribution did a lot more than $200 worth of damage to his Zell Miller conservative democrat status in rabidly republican Paulding County. He probably would have been better off to thank them kindly and not taken the money. I don't agree with Orrock's politics, but she is a good person. I don't know if she habitually sends small donations to just any Democrat running in a small race or not, but she certainly isn't the political albatross in this district that PFAW is. Just as you look at who is funding campaigns to get a feel for how a new candida
  15. You have to look at the overall situation. First, there are only about $1.6 billion in all uncollected taxes in the State of Georgia, only a portion of which are sales taxes, and a significant portion which is noncollectable due to dissolution or death, and far below the problem that Alabama had. Second, it shifts the burden (cost) of collection from the state to the local governments, and HB356 offers only a pittance in return. It also allows the individual jurisdictions to hire private collection agencies to do the government's bidding, giving them the power to seek payment as if they wer
  16. Building and selling Dune Buggies at 15. I did that all summer and part time during the school year, and worked at a car wash and a gas station on the weekends and evenings when I turned 16.
  17. So, So Sad. I can't fathom what this family is going through. May their Lord be with them in this time of trouble. They have our best wishes.
  18. Will's last published filing is also June 30. But he wasn't involved in a runoff, so I believe that he gets until September 30 for his next required filing. The grace period for Paulette's intermediate filing ended August 6th because she was involved in a runoff. Unfortunately, there is just a $25 fine for missing the date. This is a huge problem associated with the lack of ethical standards in Georgia politics that was promised to have been solved this last session and was once again completely ignored by the House and Senate. Will, thanks for responding. I had missed your previous
  19. The Progressives are using the Interstate Commerce Clause as the proposed Constitutional basis for for the FEDERAL government forcing a person to engage in Interstate Commerce whether they wish to or not. Not even in the same zip code as your "examples" straw men.
  20. I like Will. But his contributor list is somewhat troubling. Not the least of which is State Senator Nan Orrock, along with the aforementioned PFAW. I'm assuming that the personal injury lawyers and other Alabama contributors are family or personal friends. Will, If you are reading this, can you comment?
  21. On another note.....Will received a contribution from People for the American Way, an extremely liberal progressive advocacy group. And $150 from PUBBY. That right there might be enough to swing me back right. Disclosure
  22. Just curious, does anybody know who the $9000 loan is from?
  23. Many of the passengers think that he was drunk and belligerent. That's not so hard to believe.
