  1. Just FYI - fabric/dryer sheets can be harmful/toxic to dogs and cats! http://abt.cm/1uuXW0A
  2. Both of Dr. Bauman's books are on Amazon.com and Half.com - for sale and rent.
  3. It looks like Dollar General is putting a store over there.
  4. I believe Skyline Skydive the Farm is located in Rockmart. There had been other skydiving fatalities in Rockmart before this one. I really hope that the federal is looking into that.
  5. According to the Food and Drug Administration, the company is voluntarily recalling almost 7,700 cases of Kraft American Singles. To read full story: http://on-ajc.com/1qjTbYi To read the official FDA bulletin board: http://1.usa.gov/1q4rYJd
  6. I have not seen snakes around here. I could tell when they are nearby by the smell. Whenever my grandmother was doing something outdoors like working in her gardens, she always killed snakes, even the harmless ones. She made sure they are dead. She was bitten by a rattlesnake some 85-90 years ago. She is 93 years old now.
  7. Maybe Cost Plus World Market will have some in stock? They have two stores in the Marietta area -- Barrett Parkway and Cumberland areas.
  8. Something to do with the enemies seeing them being scary, tough, dangerous, etc? I've seen old photos of my descendants donning hats like that.
  9. Chris Buckner posted this silly photo back in May -- see the comments made recently... According to her Facebook profile, she is from Conyers (GA). Here is her Facebook: http://on.fb.me/1AYEFZd Seems that her half-brother (on her friend list) may have children of his own. Hope they have not been the victims of such.
  10. Happy Birthday, momof 3 - have a great one!
  11. Yes, you are correct. I believe BK was sold once or twice in the last ten years.

    Stop In!

What thrift shop is it, that you are advertising for?
  13. Burger King has not been a true American company since the 1990's. The corporate headquarters was located in London, but they kept a back office in Miami-Dade until the company was sold in the early to mid 2000's. This is probably what Burger King plans to do. Not a fan of Burger King, never have liked most of their foods, but they have had the best cinnamon chips or whatever it is called.
  14. Actually, I did hear about this just couple of days ago.
  15. I have had that issue before so I decided to use a free picture hosting site like http://tinypic.com , TinyPic allows you to upload photos without needing to sign up and getting spammed like some sites do.
  16. This is so sad. I read where the grandmother of the victim said that she was trying to move him out of there and that it was not a safe place.
  17. Let them sleep! That's the message from the nation's largest pediatrician group, which, in a new policy statement, says delaying the start of high school and middle school classes to 8:30 a.m. or later is "an effective countermeasure to chronic sleep loss" and the "epidemic" of delayed, insufficient, and erratic sleep patterns among the nation's teens. 18. Another child in Carrollton was murdered.
  19. In Cherokee County on the side of Acworth. Just off of US 92. http://bit.ly/1p3Pkiz
  20. Will probably go by the store sometime soon. It looks like last week of September, should be less crowded once the new store in Bowling Green in Kentucky opens.
  21. Oops, I didn't realise that the one across from Dollar Tree in Marietta is a Muslim grocery store. There are not many oriental stores in the Marietta/CobbCo area, so you would probably have to head over to Atlanta, NorFul, DeKCo, GwinCo, etc.
  22. Wouldn't be surprised to hear that they were put on dry/water fasts to get well that quick.
  23. Le Royal Cheese and Le Big Mac. McDonald's France Menu
