Recently I discovered a furniture place off cobb parkway. This place was into out door furniture,he was having a great sale and I picked up some bargans. He mentioned this was made by the Amish and look how it was put together, bols and screws and heavy wood. I thought it was just a sales pitch and left. I enjoyed the furniture out on our deck,it was real comfortable. I returned yesterday to look at his new inventory, when I arrived I saw men with beards and wearing real plain clothes. It was Amish men working on the new displays and the furniture. They had driven down from Lancaster Pa. I as

Thanks for all that information, never looked at it that way.

Ok here is my take on this issue,I have had my share of divorces. To try and do it yourself with kids involved is being set up for disaster. Trying to save money in this area will cost you in the long run. So much needs to be spelled out such as child support$$$$$ then visiting rights and which holiday and who pays the medical. There is so much that a lawyer in this area would prevent problems in the future. Get an attorney and do it right, papers for the courts can be tricky.

I recently moved into a house that has a good size deck,I know very little about decks. I need it stained or treated, looked at and given a quote. I don't have the time to do it myself, and the equipment either. Anyone know somebody?

Now get organized, get your volunteers. You will need money for advertising, and porta potties. Then the local police to direct traffic. Oh by the way there paid extra for that. Then you need your permits, also ambulance service on stand by,they are right at $800.00 for the event or if it's a big crowd two of them. Your police officers that are off duty is right around $250.00 per 8 hours. The tickets or wrist bands have to be purchased. Then your event insurance, along with your entertainment and your stage is any where from 700.00 to 1,200.00. You have to be also AD compliant with handy cap park -

Why Do So Many People Give Up Their Bargaining Rights?
Animal replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
The unions are usefull to keep management in check. You always hear about those bad ole unions, how about what management does? There sooooooo inocent and it's all the unions fault. Get real people it takes a fair balance between management and labor. -

I like the fact that people are interested, however it has been tried and has failed. In the last 5 years there has been several chili cook offs, even concerts in down town Dallas and the lack of support caused these events to fail. Now that the economy is on a down turn people in this area don't support events. The rodeo has lost crowds that were once capacity,so good luck with your plans. I wish you the very best and may the force be with you -
Why Do So Many People Give Up Their Bargaining Rights?

It's strange that the working class is asked to make cuts, but I don't hear there elected officials taking a cut$$$$ it should be everyone not just the union members. The unions are very important to this country, from the past to the present and beyond. -

I am searching for answers,I have met several women in the last year, that were good looking and hard working. But I ask what there husbands or partners are doing and they said nothing! I ask them why and how long that has been going on? Some of the answers are unbeliveable, Like he has tried but no luck, and for about a year now. And only the woman working, how can he feel like a man? One I talked to a few hours ago has been living together, and has a 5 month old and he has been out of work for a year. I asked why she is the only one working and she says she loves him. But love doesn't
