Bert's Farm in Dawsonville has pumpkins. There is a corn maze in Dawsonville also. There is a corn maze in Resaca and Canton. During October, the one in Resaca will be haunted.

Hope you get to feeling better! Try the Pool Room. It is on the square on downtown Dawsonville. Dawsonville has grown a lot in the past few years especially along 400. It's kind of like 278 is now. There also used to be a bar and grill off Hwy 53 East going towards Gainesville. I am not sure if it still there. Hope this helps.

Insurance companies can be a pain in the butt, especially if you are young. I was involved in a severe MVC last August. I was t-boned at 80 mph on the driver's side. My truck looked like it had been folded in half. My insurance wanted to fix it and their estimate was extremely low, compared to the dealerships estimate. The dealership took my truck completely apart to prove to the insurance adjuster that the frame was beyond repair. It took my insurance company over 6 weeks to decide if they were going to total my truck or not! I spent many hours on the phone arguing with the adjuster. I think

Try Tara's Salon on Mcland Rd near the McDonalds in Dallas. She is great!! (she cuts both men and women and a lot of the PC Deputys. Her hubby is one) Her prices are very reasonable, too. $25 for my wet cut and wash. (5 more for a style and I think men are cheaper)

My kitty (rip baby) LOVED sweet stuff especially cake and icing and ice cream with chocolate! She also ate flowers, green plants, chips/crackers, and cheese. Of course, I let her have ANYTHING she wanted! She also LOVED sweet tea!! (oh how I miss my baby!!) Edited to add that she used to like to chew on Q-tips and eat rubberbands!

When my old laptop died, I took it to Staples and the transferred everything on that hard drive directly to my new laptop. They can also transfer the data to disk, etc. They were pretty reasonable too.
