  1. IMO, it's getting to be a hostile situation in the community, and I do not endorse the confrontation a citizen had towards a commissioner in the video. Either pro or anti on the Commercial "plans" of the Airport, this fiasco should not be dragging out this long. As far as I know regarding any litigation ;Airport, the Plaintiffs are prepared and ready for Court, it's the membership team of the PCAA, IBA, etc. dragging it out. Go to Court and be done with it!!!!! Sadly, some "so called" leaders of the County has done nothing but be a dis-service towards the community. Go let these cases be h
  2. Yeah, downside is mowing your lawn in winter. I have sod in the front which goes dormant in winter but on the flip side only have to mow it about three times during summer. Backyard I spread out winter rye because I entertain with the fire pit and have a lush green lawn
  3. Might be a bit too late to plant fescue .Although I have had luck in the past where I planted winter rye late October in the bare spots, let it grow during winter, and spring time over seeded with summer grass seeds. I lucked out and the spring/summer grass seed took, and there was no need to spread straw out as the winter rye helped with erosion control and moisture to help the new seeds germinate
  4. Point being from the OP considers a load of wood VS a cord. Big difference, do you know what a full cord is?
  5. Yeah, but his wood is seasoned and worth it. First time, I picked up a load in my truck. He was not there but trustworthy and just told me to help myself and leave $$ for the load
  6. Define what a load is to you. Short bed truck, long bed, full sized? Most folks can't even imagine what a true cord of firewood is
  7. I believe all the plaintiff's names have been posted several times as those that filed the lawsuits, as for who is paying for those I have never had the knowledge. I am not a legal expert nor a investigation journalist (cough), but over the last couple of years have kept up with the lawsuits, settlement, issues with the airport, PCAA, IBA, BOC mtgs etc.Ya know, keep up with facts and the current ongoing things with this issue. And just my opinion, there was a document posted maybe a couple of months or so ago that tossed a flag up to me in my mind...............ahhh, that is who is behind
  8. What does Verizon have to do with this???
  9. Yep. Can only imagine a "null and void" rubber stamp will be put to use in the near future
  10. MY interpretation is an attempt to clean the chit off of the fan blades
  11. No doubt! It's a huge problem everywhere. Guess my thinking is would an heroin addict decide to purchase this vs heroin itself? Maybe good for a concerned family member knowing of someone's addiction?
  12. Not sure I am following the logic in this. Are addicts going to be able to purchase this and have on hand prior to a drug overdose? Maybe host an heroin party and assure everyone you have the goods if anyone od's?
  13. LOL, gotta get Marta there first. You have to think, the City of Atl has owned this property for many decades. What's the current problem? Piss off the largest city in the State and the largest employer in the State courtesy of the current Chairman? Let er rip tater chip.....................
  14. Your point being? Concrete just does not show up and spread out evenly on a neighbors property
  15. Would not surprise me not one bit! People bark about those that have questioned things such as the airport and movie studio, but bottom line how many jobs have been created???? The Airport has been there for several years and the Studio. How many full time jobs have been created to benefit a resident of Paulding? Verses, what has been "mortgaged" in bonds. Do the math Honest opinion, I just believe the City of Atlanta is doing a feasibility study for future options.
  16. I understand it's in the City Limits, but as Tbird said and I agree. My belief is it's a jigsaw puzzle if you look at what is annexed and not, unless things have change. HD does not sell alcohol, therefore the PCSO needs to respond for an incident unlike where there next door neighbor steakhouse restaurant, falls under Hiram PD with the PCSO being as backup
  17. Not sure why Hiram Police would be there as it is not in their jurisdiction. That property is not annexed in the City limits
  18. I agree. Just trying to stay on the topic of the Admin Bldg in Paulding County as the op started. Funny you said Homeland Security as the PCAA refuse to meet out at the airport but instead use the BOC room in the admin bldg due to "security". For those that visit the admin bldg to pay for vehicle taxes, property taxes, permits, etc. What sort of message does anyone think as being scrutinized as others walk freely by? Is that effective and give a warm/fuzzy feeling?
  19. I understand what you are saying, but from my understanding the appearance from what I am reading is it's pick and choose. I am certain you have policies & procedures w/in your business. Guess my point being, if the security scan is in place but not everyone is subjected to it..........why have it????
  20. Why have security scans for the general public, but let others through? What is the policy and procedure, and again I would like to know is it the Sheriff's Dept or the Marshal's office that oversees this? Heck, I guess it's a pick and choose who you know. Even the owner of this site has stated he refuses to go there due to being "searched"
  21. IMO, double standard if not everyone entering the building does not go through security check. It's known workplace violence happens w/in. Who is in charge of the security checkpoint, the Sheriff or the Marshal?
  22. Pure example why a majority of Depts in Paulding County should have a forensic audit. I've heard after many open records requests the County can not even justify, nor be able to explain, the money spent at the Airport nor Movie studio.
  23. LOL. Just pointing out his business venture that wanted a company to pay to have their name listed in a topic. It's not fair to the other paying commerce members, yet it must have been an oversight by the admin or mods.
  24. Did the rules change here? I was under the impression for a business to be named in the topic that they had to be a paying Commerce Member.
