I heard Blake bolted. Has had this plan for months to sell his home and get out of dodge

This was years ago, 2003 or 4. So you deny any team offerings?

Last I heard the leadership of the Chamber is not reporting to work. Have at doing your due diligence. Report back

I've lost my Father and other family members due to cancer. Got a bad taste in PC where the "captains" were raising donations for the cause only to find out they (you included) were in a challenge for an all expenses paid for cruise. WTF. I do volunteer work for the community and absorb my travel and time from my pocket. Can't imagine trying to raise donations for a fight to win for a cruise. BTW, do some research. Most donations go for admin costs........you would be lucky if 5% even went towards the actual cause

I survived going to elementary school with a tin lunch box that sat on the window sill in full sun in the classroom. Lunch time and the tuna samich was awesome, although the tater chips were a little moist and soft.

Greystone priming members for solar opportunities
rockster replied to gpatt0n's topic in Fastread page
Not too knowledgeable about placing solar panels on my roof, but a few of my neighbors have. Not sure of the ROI on that. I do know the local water authority got pissed off because folks started having wells installed for irrigation, car washing, etc. because of the high water rates. So, because of a budget shortfall the utility passed a big permit fee on wells. Can't win for losing, we all are going to be taxed to death. Bottom line, get involved with your local decision makers. -
Sales tax will raise $110 million for Paulding county, cities
rockster replied to Lady Raider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Yeah, I never vote to tax myself. I mean 57% for transportation. Didn't the State pass a huge tax on gas for the purpose of improving and maintaining the roads? Oh, let's not forget that $500,000 crash firetruck the county purchased with SPLOST funds and it's collecting dust bunnies somewhere and I bet the tires are dry rotting. Wonder where they even hide that thing, or if it even exist. Has anyone ever seen it?? -
Sabotage what? The General Aviation Airport has been a complete failure for many years. Please tell me, how many jobs has the airport created? How much of taxpayers $$$$ has been spent since the opening of the airport? Let me ask you this, did you not work under Blake at the PDOT?
-
Bottom line if the airport went commercial your taxes will go up to support the infrastructure needed. Additionally the current general aviation airport has increased your taxes because it has not been profitable under the current leadership, and the authorities have taken out mortgages (bonds) that your grandchildren will be paying for when they start to work. I'd still like to know where the hell that airport crash truck is parked, ya know the $500,000 spent to purchase it from SPLOST $$$$

LOL. As I've aged I'd rather have a cocktail, or three, four. If I take a toke offered and have had a couple of drinks...................you can write my ass off as a couch potato. Trust me, I know

Go for it. Apparently I am not trapping you. Otherwise, be vocal if you feel I am
-
LMAO. Can I ask again, what money are you referring to?
-
Money, what money? Please elaborate

I do not understand why this became an issue as it has. But what is the difference from a teenage gay boy checking out the junk on another boy in the locker room or a lesbian checking out if a girl has blossomed yet in the shower? Maybe private stalls. Like you mentioned, who is going to monitor and enforce this.
-
I agree it was a non issue but the feud started in Charlotte and the Governor of NC didn't like it. Keep in mind he is the former Mayor of Charlotte and it appears he has a flipping bad taste for the current one. They passed the HB2 in less than 10 hours with the Governor signing off on it. Keep in mind there are other issues buried in the HB2. McCrory is a one term Governor and up for re-election which has gone downhill. He will not win that. I reside in Wilmington, NC and this mess has driven off lots of commerce

I'll answer as it appears she won't. Her name is clearly listed as Secretary of Let Paulding Fly on the Georgia Corporations SOS listing -
AIRPORT HITS A MAJOR SNAG COURT CASES MUST BE HEARD
rockster replied to WHITEY's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Correct me if I am wrong, but were you not involved with those nasty billboards Let Paulding Fly paid for? After all, YOU are an officer of that -
Good point on that $500,000 crash truck purchased with SPLOST funds. IMO, sorta reeks of being illegal to spend SPLOST $$ on something for the airport. BTW, where is this dust bunny collector housed at? Has anyone actually seen it? I would imagine the tires are dry rotting and the fuel has turned to jelly, unless of course the County is paying to maintain it

Unique visitors refers to the number of distinct individuals requesting pages from the website during a given period, regardless of how often they visit. Visits refers to the number of times a site is visited, no matter how many visitors make up those visits. When an individual goes to a website on Tuesday, then again on Wednesday, this is recorded as two visits from one visitor. As I type this you have more search engines then members hits just on this topic.

Do not forget hwy 61 south will be shut down
rockster replied to Lady Raider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
BOOZE! Creekside clubhouse needed a pouring permit so they were incorporated into the "city limits" many years ago. If you look at a map, the city limits are pretty much non-existent from 92 until you get to Creekside down Nebo but Hiram police has jurisdiction on Nebo up to the area -
Billboards on 278 and the overall airport situation
rockster replied to marvinthemartian's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Keep in mind, even that 90% refund is not a done deal. It's not a sure thing. Didn't it take 7-8 years for the FAA to pay 90% of some land purchase from the City of Atl. Who do you think floated the money for that? Taxpayers? -
The Beginning of the End for Airport Expansion?
rockster replied to michaelsudan's topic in RECENT TOPICS
So with all this mess within the IBA & PCAA, who do you think is getting tossed under the bus first? You know someone is going to take the fall from all this -
So was this an advance in allowance? I mean, what's gonna happen come Jan, 2016? Is the PCAA due another payment, or they going to have to wait six more months? Just appears to me the PCAA must be in a financial mess if needing funds five or six months in advance. Example, say I have a balloon payment due on my mortgage Jan 2016. Do you really believe I am gonna send that payment in August 2015????? Seriously, something is not right here

Chairman claims appointment right on IBA; post commissioners divided
rockster replied to gpatt0n's topic in Fastread page
Get over having your arse handed to you in the primary. Nor, you can't deny a couple of years ago it basically was a rubber stamp commission.
