  2. Does anyone know if T.G.I. Fridays in Douglasville went out of buiness? The closest one listed on their website is Kennesaw. I found a number online for the one in Douglasville but it just rings and rings. TIA!
  3. I have to say that I am glad I am not the only one who has no idea what cowboy stew is.
  4. We took my mother in law to the Georgia Aquarium and she loved it! If you go I recommend buying your tickets at Sam's or Walmart, because they usually have them alittle cheaper.

  7. I am looking for a chocolate pecan pie recipe that is more like a fudge pie with pecans. Alot of what I am finding is a pecan pie with a few chocolate chips. I know that there are many great cooks on P.com so I am hoping that someone can help me! TIA

  12. What's your recipe for alfredo sauce, if you don't mind me asking.... Yummy I love that place! Although I would rather have their breakfast than dinner.
  13. Hubby and I always like the food. However there was never anyone in there when we went. It was my sister's first job...kinda of sad. I feel bad for the people who lost their jobs with the job market already as bad as it is. My parents actually ate there on Sunday. I wonder if the employees knew then.
  14. When I was in school we had 3 days of built in "snow days". I remember one year that we used 4 snow days so we actually made up the extra day on Saturday. I have no idea how they will do it this year. I just wonder what will happen if we actually have snow this year and they will have to cancel school again.

  16. I went past El Pollo Loco yesterday and they had signs posted that they were closed and to please visit their other locations. Does anyone know if they are closed permanently or just because of the flooding? Just curious. Thanks!

  20. If you hear of any place that is taking donations please post! I would like to help and I know that others would too. Although I know that nothing will probably be organized until later in the week. Hubby and I are among the few that did not get flooded and I would really like to help those who need it!
  21. TY!! I just gave Dad the number. They have left messages with several companies today but they havent received any call backs so I thought I would try P.com. They said the bottom of their driveway is bascially a river!
  22. My parents live in Hiram and the bottom of their drive way is almost totally gone. They are looking for someone to deliver either gravel or sand. I know that this probably won't happen today but they were just wanting to get some estimates. Is there anyone on P.com that does this? Thanks!
  23. I heard this morning around 6:30 that there were 72 roads in Paulding county that had some part of it under water.
