I should be done by Saturday or Sunday. I only have a few left to buy. I also have to go to the post office today to mail a few. I too hate waiting until the last minute. There have been years where I was completely finished by the day after Thanksgiving. Not sure what happened with me this year.

We did have a dusting, seems like it was late 80's early 90's. It did not prevent us from driving to my grandmother's house but it was very pretty. There was also another Christmas in the mid 90's where we were having Christmas at my grandmothers and we had snow showers for about 10 minutes and then it just stopped.

This is basically how my mom makes hers. As far as the sugar that goes into the sweet potatoes she does add more/or less depending on the sweetness of the potatoes.

We saw alot at Publix on Tuesday night when we went. I have always thought Mrs Smiths frozen pumpkin pies were fairly good. Might want to consider that as a back up.

Mom is hosting this year as usual. We are having: Ham Turkey Dressing Gravy Hashbrown Casserole Potato Salad Macaroni Supreme (my favorite!) Cranberry Sauce Deviled Eggs Baked Beans Green Beans Fried Okra Cole Slaw Rolls Pumpkin Pie Chocolate Pie Peanut Butter Pie I am sure I am forgetting something. But I cant wait until Thursday!! I did forget Sweet Potato Souffle.

I told my husband this sounded like something I would do and sadly he agreed. I can't tell you how many times I have looked for my glasses when they were on my face or how many times a week I loose my phone only moments after putting it down. I am really not blond I promise, just a little absent minded at times.

What are cupcake cookies? It sounds good but I have never heard of it. Also do you make Apple cake? That's always been one of my favorites.

I have been with AT&T (home phone only) for about 4 months and I have not had a problem. However my parents who also have AT&T were without a phone for about 2 weeks after the flood. Do make sure that you tell them that you do not want to be on their calling list. They called me every day for 2 months to add things to my account until I finally got them to stop calling. Personally I would go with an online service like Vonage, its much cheaper. I just had to have a landline for work.

For some reason now I have the "Sunshiny Day" from the Brady Bunch stuck in my head lol.

Blue and white coupon holder in Food Lion yesterday please let me know. I must have put it down or it fell out of the buggy. I noticed about 4 or 5 minutes after I had touched it last. Hubby and I went back to every place we had been and it was no where to be found. Please let me know if you found it. Thanks!

We went Saturday and bought a piece of red velvet cake, 2 chocolate chunk cookes, a blueberry danish and a sweet potato tart. All were so yummy! I kind of wished I hadnt stopped by because now I will definetly have to go back!

Born in D-ville cause you know they don't know nuffin about birthin' babies here in Paulding County. I was raised in Hiram, then moved to D-ville in 2002 when I married hubby (Z29media). Then we moved to Irving, Texas in 2003 and came back to Dallas last December. We bought a house and we are here to stay! My family actually goes back all the way before Paulding County was even a county. I have documents where my family received land in the Dallas/Hiram area in the land lottery.
