  1. I have a post on animal house for a free dog, but my sister took him home today. Now I can't figure out how to delete the post.
  2. I get terrible migraines and I am not happy with my current neuro. Does anyone have some suggestions? I really like a doctor that will listen to my input and take it into consideration. I have been dealing with these migrains for about thirty years and I know my body better than any doctor I just met. I have been seeing Dr Hall with West Georgia Sleep Disorders and Neurology. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  3. You should be able to find it in the asian section under Gomasio or just "rice seasoning"
  4. I absolutely love the fried rice at Taki's hibatchi grill, but I can not figure out what all of the ingredients are that they put in there. They use what they call "peanut butter and coca-cola", but I have searched for recipes on the internet and I can't find anything that these items would be. I know that they use butter, soy, and a special spice called gomasio, but I can't put my finger on the other items. Any one know the secrets?
  5. He is such a piece of absolute crap. Please don't make the mistake that I have seen so many others make and decide to try and "work things out" when he decides to come crawling back to you. I have been watching a friend go through this for over a year now. Her and her ex are constantly on again, off again, and he keeps hurting her over and over. If he was your major source of income, you can get help from many places if you look for it, but your best source of help will be your own heart and soul. Know that you are strong, and that you can live without him. You have an intelligent son to
  6. In the immortal words of Little Nicky..."Man, Popeye's is &*%$ing Awesome!!!"
  7. He does not deserve a break. Do the crime, do the time, in a manner of speaking.
  8. I have not read the book, only the reviews, which make me not want to bother buying it. If you are looking for a great erotica book series, try the sleeping beauty trilogy by Anne Rice, written uner the pseudonym of A. N. Roquelaure. It is incredibly erotic, but the writing is fantastic as well.
  9. My fam was in the area the week before Labor Day. Stayed to the south though. A place called Garden City Beach. It is wonderful, not so touristy or crowded. And it is a short 5-10 minute trip down to Murrels Inlet, where they have some of the best fresh seafood. Stayed for a week, but were lucky to get out just as the crowd was coming in for Labor Day weekend. I highly recommend a trip to the T.I.G.E.R.S. wildlife preservation for anyone who is an animal lover. Check them out at www.tigerfriends.com.
  10. I know that I am a couple of days late on this post, but maybe it will help some other folks. Witch Hazel works the best, and it doesn't stink. wet a washcloth with it, and leave the washcloth on the burn for a little while. You will feel one hundred percent better. I even use it on burns in the kitchen.
  11. I was driving to my Dad's last night out in Kingston, and the road was blocked by a horrible accident in which someone had died. According to some of the people there, it was a truck with 3 people from Dallas. I have been trying to find news about it today, but there is nothing! Has anyone heard about this? My heart goes out to the families of the victim(s).
  12. I am taking SCT 100 next quarter at Chat Tech and I am wondering if anyone knows if I need to buy the whole textbook kit, or can I just get by with the SAM access code? I got suckered into buying the whole kit for math this quarter, and I have not used my actual textbook since the first week. Since they are cutting back on grant money, I don't want to spend any more money than necessary. Thanks.
  13. I went to the Bodies exibit a couple of years ago when it first came here, and I loved it. It was so very interesting, and not nearly as "gross" as some people might believe it to be. (My huuby refused to go with me.) It is amazing the amount of work that was put into the preparation of the bodies for display. Prepare to do alot of walking though.
  14. Thanks. I didn't even think to look for the Dallas store's ad. That's cool that they are both running the sales. They have some of the best meat sales around, and the meat is really good quality. I won't buy chicken from anywhere else, and the country style pork ribs are divine! I go out of my way to get to the Dallas store, but I go right by the new one twice a week, so I am very happy that it is finally open.
  15. Good luck and best wishes to you. It is a shame to have to move out of Ga, but Mississippi is really nice too. Great BBQ and music!
  16. Down at the intersection of 92 and Brownsville Rd. towards Douglasville
  17. I drove by the new Food Lion on 92 this morning, and it appeared to be open, but since I live on the north side of Dallas, I doubt I will get a circular for it. I looked on the Food Lion website, and there is not one on there either. If anyone has seen one, could you maybe list some of the good Grand Opening deals?
  18. I truly believe that you should strive to do your best in whatever it is you do. I have always held to that type of work ethic no matter what others in my company were doing. However, as of late, I am getting a little tired of seeing other hard workers like myself get booted out of their jobs just so that the company can hire 2 part timers in their place and pay them way less money. I work for a large national corporation that is having a little trouble keeping their head above water, and we have gone through 3 CEOs in the last 2 years. Each one thinks that they have the right ideas to mak
  19. But the front row is where all the fun happens!!! Although, I guess I wouldn't suggest it if you are the least bit shy. Then again, I wouldn't suggest the show at all if you are the least bit shy, lol
  20. I have a really bad habit of passing out if I give blood, or else I would love to help.
  21. JCPenney is the best place to go. They will make little sample bottles for you of any scents you want to try out. That way you can test drive them before you make a possibly pricey purchase. Every scent smells different on every person. I absolutely love Cool Water on some men, but on my hubby, it just doesn't work. On him, I love Eternity,
  22. Barbara @ Select Salon in Hiram. I have very short hair, and Barbara is the only person I have ever found that can get it the way I want it. And with my last job, I traveled all over the country, and still never found anyone that could do it right. Not even the $120 hair cut (no color or anything, just a cut and style) I got at some fancy salon in Vegas, lol.
