They want the red Trans Am to be let through. He is a witness. The SO said NO to allowing any family members through.
The red Trans Am is a family member. Family members are also in a white van. Injured was transported to Paulding.
The road is completely shut down at Willow Springs. No westbound traffic is moving.
46 yo woman from Kennesaw was traveling 278 wb on the wrong side of the road and hit a truck going eb head on. The lady did not make it and from what I understand the 2 in the other were released from the hospital before X-Mas. Happened 12-22There has been another MVA with a fatality around 6:20 p.m. today.

Yes, it is a second accident. A rear-ender somewhere in the traffic.
Something was also said about a tractor trailer. They are wanting to let the ones with heavy loads go on through.
Ultimately, they are going to be sending everybody down the eastbound lanes.

Family members of the people in the white mini van involved in the accident are on scene. SO said they will let them know where they are going to be transported. No way for them to get to the accident scene.

Green SUV and white Nissan truck are the vehicles involved.

The accident is in the westbound lanes of 278 right in front of Locklear Circle.
They are turning traffic at Willow Springs.
278 westbound is shut down.

I think they said they are taking one to the hospital. The transmission was hard to understand.

They are making 278 eastbound a two-lane to get traffic moving. It's a mess.

SO has arrived on scene. Two cars involved. Heavy damage.
278 eastbound is shut down.

At first the dispatcher said possible entrapment, then no entrapment. Also said possible signal 48. Occupants are unresponsive. I do not know how many vehicles are involved or what kind. I will keep listening.

I've tried it both ways. I've left it up until after New Year's Day and also taken it down before. Neither one seemed to have an impact on luck. I started taking mine down last night. It's finally done!! Now I'm working on the rest of the Christmas stuff. I need to get me some plastic tubs so that I can get organized.

I went to Jump N Jax for the first time several weeks ago and was very impressed by the quality of the clothes. Prices were good, too.
Last week, I discovered Kid to Kid in the shopping center behind McDonald's on Highway 5 in Douglasville. Puts Jump N Jax to shame!
Much nicer clothes with lots better prices. Much better selection. They have all kinds of toys, shoes, accessories, and even maternity clothes. I will be a returning customer.

Oh my goodness!! This is so terrible. Three fatal accidents in just a matter of days. I pray for those babies and the family/friends of the woman killed.

I've had my scanner on but nothing has caught my ear!! I did hear something about a very brief chase around that time. I didn't hear the area, but I think it was a foot chase.

I tried to put the Santa hat on Luke this morning, but it's too little this year!!!
I have a friend whose daughter dresses up their cat. The cat lets Suzanna do whatever she wants with her. The cat has a bathing suit, lots of dresses, coats, hats, all kinds of stuff!! It's funny that a cat will tolerate all that dress-up stuff!!!

People are crazy!! I didn't get all the info but, Friday afternoon at Arbor Place Mall, someone stole a bunch of stuff from Sears and tried to get away. If you'd seen all the traffic, you'd wonder why someone would be so stupid as to think they could get away!! I think they said it was a blonde-haired lady with bloodshot eyes!! She hit a lot of vehicles trying to make her escape. Someone got the tag number so they traced it to her residence. I'm assuming they got her!!!
I just couldn't believe someone would be that stupid!!!

Channel 2 has the worse traffic reports. They never seem to get accident locations right!!
I heard about 278 & 92 on the TV and radio. They are still saying it on 101.5.
