No but, when I had Pleurisy (sp?) back in 1990, it felt just as bad. It felt like my ribs were broken, for about 2-3 weeks. That was worse than Pneumonia and Bronchitis, together. When I was in Douglas General for 10 days back in Feb of 2010, it felt like a mack truck and ran over me, backed up and ran over me again. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. Hope you get to feeling better, soon. My link

When I worked at Shoneys, that was the ONLY day that they were closed. There is a Shoneys in Cartersville and the one in Lithis Springs on Thornton Rd, is still open. Not sure about Christmas Day, though.

We use Paulding Waste, also. We have had them for a long time. We don't mind paying a little extra for the great customer service and the great service from the men who pickup our trash. One week we forgot to put our cans out and the trash collector came and got the can and emptied our trash. They didn't have to do that!!! If we didn't support the small businesses in our community, where would they be?? They'd be "out of business", we like seeing our community grow and we appreciate their services.

I believe his name was Gary Lee and I don't recall seeing his roadside memorial, in a few months. I could be just overlooking it, though. You know, I feel bad for anyone who is/was involved in an accident but, "IF" people were more careful and NOT in such a doggone rush, there might not be so may people hurt or even killed. SLOW DOWN AND SMELL THE ROSES!!!! Most of the School Zones, speed limits are 10 miles below the posted speed limit. I never really understood this part but, it should be 35 in ALL school zones and then back to the mormal speed limit. Oh well, I'll drive my usual slo

I tried their wings one time (fundraiser day, maybe??) and they were small, dried up had NO meat on the bones and I sent them back. I just ate my french fries and left it at that. Won't be doing that again!!!!!! Other than the Market Deli WIngs at the Douglasville Mall, Publix wings are AWESOME!!!! They are HUGE and you can get 20 for $9.29 and they have them on sale for like $7.49, quite often!!! Most of the restaurants prices for wings are approximately $1.00 ea wing.

Year before last, we bought a live tree from home Depot in Villa Rica, got it home, set it up, got ready to decorate it the following day and all of the needles were just a falling off. I called Home Depot and they told me to just bring my receipt in and they give me a refund. I asked them what do Ido with the tree, they just said that i DID NOT need to bring it back to the store. They knew they had a bad batch of trees and was not wanting the customers to bring the dead trees back to the store. That was fine with me, I was not wanting to put that tree back into my suv, again. It was hard eno

This is two of the four, of my youngest Daughters children. These children do NOT get a party every year, Only at the ages of 1-5 and then again at 10. That's why this one was such a big-to-do party, one was 5 yo and the other one was 10 yo. Here comes the other pictures........................ This picture below, with the little one looking up, his Mother is opening up his Case Knife, that he received as a present. Are you sure they are still having a Christmas Lights Display??? I thought they discontinued this years ago. We live just off of Ridge and we haven't seen any signs advertising any lights in years. I'll go by there and check it out, Sunday or Monday and will report back, then.

Some Mortgage Comapnies will do a Cash For Keys, deal. Most of the time, it will take about 3 to 4 months for the mortgage company to go thru the whole process, (from the last house payment to the actual court ordered move out date) to get you out of the house. In that time, the money they will have lost is typically 3 or 4 months house payment and the repairs that will have to be made (when the house is destroyed) and the court costs. Some homeowners will trash and/or destroy a house when they are forced out of their homes. Cash for Keys, is easier and it's a Win-Win for everyone. The mortga

Customer knocks over two BIG Screen TV's, and walks off............
Mrs G replied to Mrs G's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Yes, she was too busy looking at the $.50 DVD's and talking to her daughter, who was in the store. I went to the front and told the person at the Customer Service Desk, what happened and basicaly got the same response. I think a call to Corporate on Monday, will be made. I told the gentleman at the Customer Service Desk that at least get someone to check out the TV's before they are sold to an unsuspecting customer. -
Not sure IF this has been posted or not but, there was a man who was pulling a prank on a lady, the prankster ~may~ have been a neighbor or relative of the homeowner but, a man was pranking a lady, he acted like he broke into her house, when she came into this particular room and saw a man inside of her house, she ran outside seeking help, she ran into the street and was hit by a car and died. PRANKS ARE NOT FUNNY.

That's why we use them, because of their awesome Customer Service and great communication skills. I love the hometown businesses. The extra money IS worth the difference.

That would be a good one but, the DJ's should be charged with "something" since she obviously was humiliated nationwide. Poor thing.
