If you want to travel north a bit, today and tomorrow they are having the Georgia Apple Festival in Ellijay. Do a search, it lists all the vendors. It is HUGE! It is from 9am - 5 pm tomorrow. A lot of people do their Christmas shopping at this festival. Maybe we will see ya there!

I just spoke with the Father. They are still searching the woods. Neither of them have been found yet. They did find the boys t-shirt, water bottles, and candy wrappers. That's it so far!

OK, here is what I know. The Father came into my store yesterday in tears, and said his daughter and her boyfriend had run away. He gave me 2 flyers to put up, which I did. They were overheard saying they may take off into the woods after school, that's why they had the big search today. The girl is Destiny Clover, and the boy is Derek Innes. The Dallas New Era paper has a yard sale listing in the classified section. They come out on Thursday, I think. You can usually find them in convenience stores.

This is the same lady at Food Lion. She used to come into my store wanting to sell her flowers. Next she just started bumming money and buying lottery tickets. Last week she was kicked out of the Chevron/McDonalds and asked not to come back. I was told the other day that her latest gimmick is door to door begging. I think businesses started running her off, so she decided to try door to door. I can't believe she would have the nerve. It could be so dangerous. I know she has gotten hooked on the lottery tickets. I thought it was her Grandson that she lived with. (that's what she told me) I doub
