I think some of the lurkers, recent members, and site users in general could use some guidance on the unspoken rules of PCom 1. Before posting a new topic, peruse the recent topics page (at least the first two) and see if there is ALREADY a topic started on the SAME subject please add yours.........

The boyscouts will have hotdogs and such but no actual "concessions". You can bring food and drink- no alcohol though.

Does any one KNOW though?

My son attends daycare at the SSH (in front of the Georgian), not quite old enough for pre-k, but I can tell you I know the teachers, they have masters, the director & asst. director are awesome, and you can pop in ANYTIME for a tour or questions- no surprises or funky smells. The center always looks clean and well maintainted. I don't want my youngest to grow up too fast but I look forward to him attending the pre-k program at the SSH!!

Ohhh- it is!! We went through the entire jar along with the blue aztec chips in two day I know, I know- but my house is STILL being painted/fixed up by the hubby. I need to borrow someone's house & then I'll throw a party!

I went to one of the parties a few weeks ago- when our order arrived at the house my hubby and I pigged out- it was sooooo good- and of course- simple to make!! I need to get myself invited to another one of the parties for more samples

Our kids had a BLAST! Thanks so much for hosting this fun event- we were thrilled to be a part of it!

Indoor/outdoor FAMILY activity center Putt-putt rock climbing selction of video games go-carts paint ball activity area for younger kids like- Andretti Speed Lab meets Dave & Busters meets Mountasia meets Sparkles kind of thing. A place that caters to families with children of all ages. We have inflatable places and stars n' strikes- someone ought to merge 'em. . . I'd come with my 4 kids of various ages/interests.

I've seen them out marking the utilities, there is orange paint markers all over the Ridge near the intersection with 61- there are also the long yellow tubes to protect underground utilites - they look like they will really start breaking ground in the next week or so- I doubt it will get shelved if it has come this far. I feel so sorry for the 100+ people waiting to continue N & S on 61 - each has to stop and except for morning & evening rush hours there's not much traffic coming in the other direction from Ridge/Mulberry Rock. We're going to Rock Eagle this weekend with the Paulding Co 4H BB Gun Team- our involvement with the organization has been so much fun! The local council organizes summer field trips & camp outside of the leadership opportunities, public speaking, competitions, and many other valuable skills and opportunities they offer. We love 4H- it's so much more than "cows & chickens"!

Who else is coming? The tent is already up- we're going to have a great time!

If the winds exceed a certain speed in the county (I don't know the limit) the automated attendant will notify the caller for a burn permit that due to wind conditions a burn ban is in place. On Friday, my son loaned another classmate his study guide for an upcoming test, he did not get it back from her. I got an email from the teacher bringing my sons poor performance on the related quiz to my attention as well; he comes home Fri after soccer practice, I ask him how he plans to study for this test. . . "back in my day" I'd be stuck, no studying, mom would be po'd all weekend, etc. Son comes upstairs 20 minutes later with study guide written out by hand- he had the girl take pictures of the study guide with her cell phone and forward them, he zoomed in and wrote it down. Good way
