I go to Church with his Aunt. Here is a link to a blog where you can find additional information as it becomes available: http://www.cafemom.com/journals/read/1593493/Friend_s_Brother_is_Missing_in_Colorado_Please_vote_popular

Only time will tell if it's the real deal. At this point, I think we all should be somewhat skeptical until further information is provided. There will be those that believe that it is real even if it is disproved. On the other hand, there will be those that will not believe even if irrefutable evidence is provided.

Very cool. Can't wait to see more pictures.

Not only am I an organ donor, I also have a piano that someone can have when I die. I cannot understand why someone would not be willing to donate body parts that they cannot use since they are dead. I have even had two friends donate a kidney in the past year and they are still alive.

Being in the computer business, I cannot ever afford to be without internet service. Therefore I have both ATT and Comcast. Each them will go down occasionally and I just switch over to the other. Comcast is faster and does seem to be a tad more reliable than ATT.

I would rather see a law that mandated seat belts with an exemption for those that carry medical insurance or have enough cash to pay their own medical bills. I do not want to pay your medical bills ever, but I especially do not want to pay for injuries you received because you did not wear a seat belt. IMO, it is crazy to even have a seat belt law while we allow people to ride motorcycles.

Most of the Reverends that I know are living at or below the poverty level. The ones that are raking in the big bucks are not even close to being a majority and give the truly legitimate ones a bad name. It makes me want to gouge my eyes out.

I would definitely test for radon. Even if you find radon, it is not necessarily a deal breaker since there are ways to mitigate.

A great point I had not thought about. On another note, I always an very patient with elderly drives, remembering that I too will also be elderly one day if I don't die young. I have little patience with the person driving slow while talking on the phone, applying makeup, etc. Even then, I still do not yell at them, blow the horn, or give them the finger. -
Not sure I understand. Just unplug the electrical cord and unplug the ethernet cord if you have a wired internet connection.

Severe storms headed to area Saturday night

Let's remember to unplug those computers (including the internet connection) during a storm. Using a laptop that is connected to a wireless router and running on the battery is fine. (I have another post about this titled "Two Warnings" - I just did not want anyone to miss this important info). -
1. Many electronics have capacitors which store electricity even when they are not plugged in. Therefore, I would strongly discourage anyone from tearing apart electronic devices unless you want a shock. I recently heard of a kid that tore apart an old computer power supply, which is a unit that stores a charge. He did receive a shock but luckily he is okay. Televisions are another device that stores a charge. 2. We are expecting thunderstorms today. Lightning can cause permanent damage to computers and other electronic devices. I frequently receive calls from people that have lost a compu

I have a left handed screw driver for reverse threaded screws. These are really difficult to come by.

I did not even realize Archie was still around. Of course I have not bought a comic book in about 30 years. By the way - Welcome to PCOM and be careful dancing in the dark.

I saw someone drive right through a red light 3 hours ago while talking on the phone. Scared the liver out of me.

With great freedom comes great responsibility. These folks are a danger to the freedom of speech concept. Consider the "right to bear arms". Irresponsibility by some have caused restrictions to be put in place and many people gladly traded their freedom for what they perceived as security. I wonder how many would gladly give up the concept of free speech to stop nutjobs like this?

I'm not really concerned with protest at Tea parties or any other assemblies. The death of a loved one and a funeral is a very painful experience and I feel like the family should have the right to experience it in peace. If that makes me anti-free speech, so be it.

If You Have a Small Business or Organization

Count me in. PM sent. -
Me too. But I feel more sorrow for the families and friends at the funerals that they protest. I'm a freedom of speech proponent, but in this case I would like to see a law to restrict this type of behavior at funerals.
-
Thanks for the clarification. In that case, I completely agree with you. I know of many Churches that are like this and feel that there is little hope that they will ever change.
-
Wow. I have not heard about this. Where are these churches that protest the funerals of fallen soldiers and homosexuals?
