The ATT tech installed it for me. You will still be able to use every jack in the house. A phone cord runs out of the Uverse box and plugs into a phone jack which feeds the rest of the jacks in the house.

I have had it since November and am very pleased. The only difference that I have noticed is that it takes 2-3 seconds after the number is dialed before the call is placed.

I had to research 4shared. It seems to be more geared to the person that wants to share files on the web with other people. I would not use them to backup data that I did not want anyone else to see. I'm not wild about this statement in their privacy policy: "4shared has the right to review your file contents for violations of our Terms of Use". Compare this statement to Carbonite's : "Carbonite will not decrypt your files unless i) it reasonably believes that it must do so to troubleshoot problems with the Carbonite Products or Services or ii) it reasonably believes it must do so in order to

I heard that the script is in process and they hope to begin filming late this year or early next year. I will probably cry when the last episode airs.

I have the same problem every spring. I use my wife's Dove Cream Oil and it really helps. I also have a prescription for the strongest steroid ointment available and it does absolutely nothing.

I would work like a wild man for 3 days to have a mandatory 4 day weekend. I'm available for work 7 days a week now, although I do not have enough work to fill everyday.

A very interesting point. I would also tend to think that package store owners would be happy to have all of their sales condensed into 6 days rather than 7 since they would get a day off. Heck, I'm thinking about trying to get a law passed that you can only get your computer repaired on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Then all the geeks could have 4 day weekends.

In the other universe, I'm sure that I'm skinny, rich and good looking. If you like the idea of a parallel universe, you need to watch Fringe on Thursday nights. It's a great show.

Microsoft recently announced a new phone that will be released soon: the Kin One and Kin Two. For those that are really into social networking and texting, this may prove to be a good choice. You can find a thoughtful preview of the phone here: http://www.winsupers...kin_preview.asp and the official website here: http://kin.com Are there any heavy social networkers on pcom that think this may be the answer?

Great topic. I would have no problem upholding the decision of the Jury/Judge as long as there was no new credible evidence to consider. Finding God or being a model prisoner would not be a consideration. Another question: Could you be the one to actually actually "push the button" or insert the needle to carry out the sentence? That is not something that I would find easy to do.

Cell Phone Smart/Touch Opinions with ....

Even without Flash, I would still choose the iPhone for ATT service. Flash is a real pig in regards to system resources and there are many apps that will allow you to see traditional Flash content such as Youtube. The Nexus One is a serious contender, but it will cost you $549 to use on ATT since it is not currently subsidized. You can also get it with T-Mobile service for $179. -
I would really like to see them explore the possibility of privatizing with someone like FedEx. If we go the privatization route, there will need to be subsidies for delivery to the ranch in the middle of no where or have the recipient pick up their mail at a local facility. I could also live with mail being delivered 2 days a week as long as the PO is open 5 or 6 days per week.

This is one of the reasons I recommend Dell. They will end up losing money on your purchase by paying a tech to come out, but they stand behind their product with excellent service while it is under warranty.

Have you tried uninstalling the sound card in the device manager and restarting the computer?

Give this free program (Restoration) a shot: http://download.cnet.com/Restoration/3000-2094_4-10322950.html?tag=mncol As long as the files have not been written over it will find them.

They will not last forever. I like to take a conservative approach and reburn every 4-5 years. You also want to make sure that this is not the only copy of your pictures. A backup means you have 2 copies. I encounter people all the time that have "backed up" up their files to an external drive. In reality it is not a backup because the only place that the files live is on the external drive.
