  1. Hey Madea... Medicare doesn't cover compression hose, but we do have some very good prices on them. And we also special order if needed, and carry several brands. We would need your Mom to come in so we can measure her, then we can give her some options. Christine and I are both certified fitters, so please come by - we're in Ste. 33 at Storage Xxtra - our sign isn't up yet. Thanks Sure, give me a call and we'll get some give-aways together... I do remember the message, and I apologize - I've had my head wrapped up with the move -
  2. We carry some items... have her call us and we'll see if we can provide - 770-222-6678
  3. Yes, we do... what kind of insurance? We have compression hose - I think that's what you're looking for...
  4. The economy and declining reimbursement rates got us... we closed our store next to We Care MD yesterday. We'd like to thank all of you pcommer customers for your patronage over these last two years. The durable medical supply business is under a great deal of pressure right now from Medicare and commercial insurers, which makes it difficult to keep the doors open. On another note, PAK in Pink has moved across the street to Storage Xxtra and will continue with custom bra fittings, prosthetics, hot flash nightwear, custom jewelry, Save the Tatas gear and all other lines we carry. We will also r
  5. I'm definitely in the market for one - being able to access the web will be a great boost for sales on the road... Being able to show customers video, larger photos and our website on the go will be great. And I love to read, so the book aspect is definitely appealing. Just trying to save up my nickels...
  6. Thanks LL! I know what a robin, hummingbird and hawk look like - after that, duhhhh...
  7. Well who knew?? They were just having so much darn fun, I had to stop. The berry thing does explain the dive-bombing in the little bushes below the trees. They were a happy bunch -
  8. I'm going to buy you a bag of birdseed...
  9. SS - you win the prize girl! From the web: # Behavior Cedar Waxwings are social birds that you’re likely to see in flocks year-round. They sit in fruiting trees swallowing berries whole, or pluck them in mid-air with a brief fluttering hover. They also course over water for insects, flying like tubby, slightly clumsy swallows. # Habitat Look for Cedar Waxwings in woodlands of all kinds, and at farms, orchards, and suburban gardens where there are fruiting trees or shrubs. Backyard Tips Cedar Waxwings love fruit. To attract waxwings to your yard, plant native trees and shrub
  10. I looked up the tufted and the peewee - I don't see any pictures with the yellow stripe on the end of the tail... they were very playful. They flew together in big circles and then landed on the trees. They would follow each other - if a few jumped to a new tree, the others would follow. I had my window open and in their path - I thought they were going to fly into my car. I had a big laugh -
  11. I drove past these trees today, and realized they had little birds on the limbs. So I stopped and took some pix - they were having a ball jumping from tree to tree - made me think of spring... and they were gone...
  12. Thank you Lady!! I'll get together with you for the tees...
  13. Thank you all for the nice comments... I also craft personalized bracelets in the primary colors, Swarovski crystals and sterling silver - I'm out, but will post a picture later...
  14. We've seen so many come in the store looking for Autism Awareness jewelry to show support - so we just received these today... The colors are wonderful! At PAK in Pink... $12.95 $3.95 $10
  15. He snowboarded down Vinson Mountain... As he was walking back up the mountain with his board, one of the Polk Cty sheriff's deputies stopped and asked him if it was worth it. He said "oh yeah"... Mark that one off the list - A few pictures from our place
  16. We loved and really miss Johnny Carino's... their eggplant parm was incredible. Actually, last week we ate at the JC's at Camp Creek and it was delicious. The apple pastry dessert was also delicious...
  17. May he rest in peace... my prayers for you and your family
  18. I was feeling guilty because I left them in the back yard yesterday. They have a covered porch with doghouses, so it's usually not a problem. But the snow must have freaked them out - and somehow they got out. Reba came back limping and very cold late last night. I followed her tracks with a flashlight until 11 last night trying to find Hunter. Then up early this am out again... when I returned Hunter was sunning on the back porch. She's sturdier than I thought...
  19. Our husky showed up this morning, after I had walked our hilly property for a couple of hours screaming for her... most exercise I've had in 2 years - here are some pics A chilly hammock!
  20. Sounds like he's on the "up and up" - and prayers for your aunt...
  21. We've been on 2 Princess cruises - 1 to Alaska, and 1 to the Carribean. They were both fabulous. The ships are beautiful, and the food was incredible. We're spoiled now...
  22. I'm just logging on here... I hope all went well today with the surgery. In my former life, I sold the plates and screws for spine surgery. The ring is fairly new, but a well-respected procedure. May it bring your husband relief - back pain is no fun. Big hugs to you, and prayers for your husband's recovery...
