  5. Yeah, what an awesome show... we had a wonderful time and learned about the filming of the show. Construction is 24/7, and they had pictures of the scene at night - looked like day with the bright lights. 3,000 volunteers were turned away - people came from all over the country. At any one time, 150 people were working inside the home. The Turners said it was the most important project of their lifetime - they lived in their camper during the week. After the Williams had been in the home for 3 weeks, they invited the Turners and their family down for a tour - the little boy was a pistol, they
  6. Tonight's season finale of Extreme Home Makeover features a family from Pine Mountain just north of Columbus. The home was constructed by Nationwide/Palm Harbor Homes and the Turners of Heartland Homes in Yorkville were part of this construction. They donated funds, supplies and their time during the week of filming. Ok, so here's the story... Wayne Turner was the Minister of Education of the church I grew up with in Clarksville, TN. My sister and I grew up with their two daughters, and wouldn't ya know it - here we are, a bazillion years later - living about 5 miles from each other in Yorkvil

A group of us have been participating since that time - Monday nites, $10 for 3 games, incl. shoes - Basically, we have a good time. It's loose on the rules, big on having fun... 18. Thank you Lady Raider - a bigger picture of her "Memory" bracelet...
  19. Honestly, it just depends on my cost of goods... the crystal bracelets start at $28. The name bracelets run a little more because of the cost of the sterling silver letters. But I work with all my customers to find the best option for the best price - I really like working with sterling and gold fill simply because it lasts. If you're making the "investment", you should get good quality. Silver plate is less expensive, but the silver will wear off. You've welcome to give me a jingle, or pm with your children's names and I can give you some ideas...
  20. I can work it baby... There are a few options... I can put more than one name on a bracelet, depending on how long the names are - I could put initials, or short nicknames... pm their names and we'll come up with something Will you be at Stars n Strikes tonight?
  21. Barely two weeks left - please contact quickly if you're interested... The bracelets are made with Swarovski crystals in the month of birth, finished with sterling silver. I also use Swarovski pearls for the "pearl girls" - as far as size goes... I can make a standard size bracelet, and remake it afterwards if you'd like a complete surprise. Here are some pictures of bracelets for others - Please pm me, or call 770-222-6678 This one was for my MIL - she just wanted birthstones (May & Sept)
  22. Looks like I'll be getting some exercise this next month - but I need it... just ran out to check on her due to the hail storm, and she's snuggled way down in that nest - bone dry
  23. This little mama has nested in the "glove compartment" of our golfcart... there are 4 eggs under her... does anyone know how long before they hatch? And how long before the babies take off? I guess we'll be "on foot" until - she's too cute
