  1. I feel totally left out ..... I have no idea what is/was/has been/ going on. I am on PCOM everyday and it sounds as tho I have somehow missed something BIG.

I thought I was the only one who felt this way

Hope that they work it all out...

  2. What about Biltmore in NC?

    checking on that now....

We just did a weekend in Helen and LOVED it!!Tons to see and do. We stayed at a BEAUTIFUL resort with the greatest cabin and pool...let me know if you'd like the number!

would love to have the name/number...thanks!

  3. Got any suggestions about where to go for the weekend? We have already done Callaway, so we are looking for something in North Georgia or North Carolina.....Gotta have activites for the kids...I have looked into Boone, North Carolina, and the resort that I was really interested in, is booked of course! We would like to stay somewhere very nice with great amenities :D :D

    Suggestions?

  4. homemade burritos (with all the fixings) & salsa, fresh pineapple :)

Where do you get your totillas??? I am looking or the kind that you have to cook on the stove top, that are refrigerated or frozen...I get them when I go back west, but can't seem to find them here. <_< <_<

  5. I have one, its private. I'll only add people I know or talk to often :) I'd add you...but you might get scared  ;)

I would love to have you add me :D :D I must warn you though right here and now, I currently have NKOTB playing on my page!

  6. Mine is not private... I like living on the edge!! :p Come to think of it... anyone wanna stalk me - I could use the excitement!!!

I will come check you out...How do I find you?

  7. It is important to have it private if you have children. You do not want people finding out everything about them. Plus I would like mine private anyways. Like it or not some crazy people are out there. They maybe stalk you or kill you. But they may not. ha But just in case I would. You can find out about everyone by there account. I do not even have my city listed. When you start writing comments to your friends people will start to know where you are. It is just safety. That is what it is for me!

Thanks for the reply...I am starting to set up albums, and of course my kids are in the pics...Think I will keep mine on private

Mine is private b/c I have stalkers that like to see what I am doing and then go and talk about what I am doing and who I am hanging out with .. Pretty annoying

And also, There are some people that I use to go to church with and I dont want them to see I am a party devil haha

    :o :o :D :D

Mine is set to private. Crazy ex and his current gf have issues!!! That's all I'm saying....

    ;)

  8. So, I am really starting to put together a My Space page...My question is, do you have your page set to private? If so why? I really want to get this thing up and running, so I am just wondering what people do. I have it set to Private now, but not sure why...

Also, if you want to be added to someones friend list, are they added to yours as well? (if they accept of course!)

    Thanks for the help

  9. Maybe it's because government(s) spend money on un-necessary stuff or on people who don't deserve it, rather than pay

the people who protect the lives of others.

We pay millions upon millions of welfare dollars out on lazy assed people who won't get off their asses to work.

The more kids they plop out, we reward them by giving them more money.

We can give money to people who don't deserve it, but we can't give descent salaries to our

public safety people (police, fire, ems, forestry) who put their lives on the line.

We can give money to people who's profession is making tricycle motors, but we can't pay

our soldiers who defend the country a descent salary.

We pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to congress people and senators who make our laws,

but we pay our public service people jack who protect us and our property.

What's even worse is that we don't give them all the tools and man power to do a descent job either.

Could not have said that any better... :good: :good:

Mr Dis.- I don't know if there is a payscale, that could truly reflect what you and your fellow firefighters do for all of us every day. Thank you from the bottom of this families heart.

  10. I really do not miss the Yuma, Arizona...I was born and raised there and the majority of my family lives there, although I do miss them of course!

We moved to a town called Novelty, Ohio which is located in Geuaga County, just outside of Cleveland. If it were possible, I would go back there in a hearbeat. :p :p

  11. The DBF has a Honda VTX 1300! We looked at ALL of them. Honda's, Harley's, Yamaha's...yadda yadda yadda.... We settled on the 1300... We couldn't have made a better decision.

48 mpg. Great looking bike........but 1/2 the price of a Harley!! There is NO reason to by a Harley....unless you just want to throw money away.

The bike your hubby is looking at....is for looks.....Oh...and he will save some money on gas....But WHY would you spend 20k on a Harley or and Ironhorse. The payments will be crazy! You're talking about a vehicle payment.

If you want a great bike...and fun to ride....AND SAVE MONEY...........go to Chattanooga and go to Southern Powersports!!!! I can guarantee that you will save about 3k over any dealership here in the ATL!!!

I know of some dealerships down here...that couldn't believe what we paid for our 1300! THEY can't even get the bike for that price........

Oh....Once the bike is bought.....that is not the end of it...... highway bar, new pegs, saddle bags, sissy bars...yadda yadda yadda......I could go on and on and on....THIS NEVER ENDS......

I think you should test your hubby and see if he really wants something to save gas....or is he just wanting something to show off........See if he will even look at the VTX 1300 or the 1800!!!!

His bike looks awesome.. Here is his bike...

    Good Luck

This is a great looking bike! I am going to show hubby this as soon as he gets home!

I have a 96 Magna it gets 49 mpg. and my insurance is 150 a year.

Yes its worth it. REALY worth it if you love to ride 8)

He does love to ride

  12. Did Coles close? I may have missed a posting

Reason I am asking, is the owners lived in my Subdivision, and they just left :o :o

Truth be told, I did not care for the food nor the service, but they were a nice family, and I would hate to hear that they couldn't make a go of it.

  13. American Ironhorse and Harley Davidson are both expensive bikes. If he's looking to save money, and not just telling you that as a way to convince you to let him have a bike :), there are some great deals out there on Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha and Suzuki motorcycles that look very similar to Harley's, run better and cost a whole lot less.

Update- hubby went back to the Harley Dealership today, ready to do some talking and some test driving......He saw the man that he was talking to yesterday, who today, would not give him the time of day. <_< <_<

He is a stickler for customer service, even if you are busy, which they weren't, you should aknowledge your customers.(or potential one's in this case) He waited for 30 minutes :o :o (normally he would not wait that long) and then he called me to tell me he was leaving.

I doubt that he will go back to that particular dealership (Thornton Road- :ninja: :ninja:) They just lost a potential $$$ sale :excl: :excl:

  14. He already has his motorcycle rating on his license, but will take a course to refresh himself. There are quite a few co-workers of his who commute on their bikes, and they have a workplace that can take care of his personal needs should he have to get cleaned up. (showers ect..)

He has wanted another bike for a really long time, the plan was to wait until next year, but with gas the way it is, it might be more practical to go ahead now. From what we have researched, he will just about triple his mpg's on a good day. I don't know if he will go with the American Ironhorse, or the Harley, or maybe something else?? One thing good about him, is that he takes his time, and does alot of research before a purchase on a vehicle of any kind. I think it is the mechanic in him!

  15. We were at the Harley Dealership yesterday....He saw one he likes, a 2008 Streetbob. (brand new) This bike is the same price as the used Ironhorse, so I think he is going back this afternoon to go for a ride. They have a course at the Dealership, and I think that this is the one he is going to take.

Where is Bikers Gone Wild? (he is going to need to get all the gear)

  16. I have a Harley RoadKing and get around 40 miles per gallon. Costs $18 to fill up and I have to use premium. We have gone from driving 2 vehicles to work at around $150 a week in gas, to roughly $50 a week.

    WOW!

A bike or seat? Could work out well for you!

   sorry, I guess I should have said a seat.
