  1. That is how I got involved on facebook. One of my best friends sent me an email to look at her site. I couldn't do it without being a member, so I joined - let the addiction begin!!!! I have found friends from HS and College I had not talked to in YEARS!!!!! I have really enjoyed it, much more than myspace.

Like others have said, the emails had to be initiated by people you know.

Can you customize your page, like you can on myspace?

  2. I do with both of my boys.( they go with me, or they go with thier father) Years ago, I saw a story about a boy that went by himself to the bathroom in California at a beach, and was killed..His family was right outside, that story has stayed with me all of these years.

Question for those who no longer escort- at what age did you stop? Sometimes I get looks from other people in the bathroom- I know they think the boys should not be in there....

  3. Depending on where you are, you may be going to the new school...The lines have been drawn and will be submitted to the public next month..Ragsdale Elementary will take the kids from Union and Poole.

  4. The first holidays are always the roughest..During the first year after losing my dad, we made a DVD with a bunch of old pics of our family..We put it to his favorite song, we were not sure how everyone would react, but it was the best night ever..We laughed and cried, and laughed some more...

    Good Luck.

  5. So you are telling me that my kid's should not have a Christmas over $50? Whould you let your kid's go with out a chirstmas over $50. It anit like i went out and sent 100's of dollars on them. No I had to go to the Dollar store to get them a few things. A FEW like 2 things for each one. So my kid's can look under the tree and see that they do have something.

If it is between having a home and not having a home- what is the problem?? Would I let my kids go without Christmas? Well, first of all, it is not about what they get from us, and secondly, my husband has been laid off since October- so paying the mortgage is just a little more important to us than presents. Be thankful that your husband HAS A JOB, and be more responsible with your bills.

  6. If they said forclosure- I would be asking them why they are using that term?? I would be looking them up!

Second, and please do not take this the wrong way- but Christmas presents should not come before your rent- take them back, and pay your rent, what good are the presents for the kids gonna do if you have no home

  7. Also would like to know if this is the same one that was at the Plaza and the one that built the place where Rodney's is now located. If so, the chicken salad is awesome.

Where is located on Buchanan Highway?

I am not sure if it is technically(sp?) in Draketown or not...The lasagna is the =@ ! He is a pretty good guy, and does alot to support the schools!

  8. so based on what i read there is 4 houses for 464,000. is that right ?

Oh, there are alot of homes...more like almost 3 pages of listings..I have never read these type of legal notices before, but each one has several houses listed, and some only have one??? My best guess, is the ones listed together, were in the same construction loan..I am sure that there are people who know more about this kind of thing that I...Are you interested in buying out here? Seems like you can get a pretty good deal

  9. We live over by that subdivision. It is really nice and the houses are nice too....but when they first started the subdivision it was WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY over priced :)

agreed, just after we bought in 2006, the upped the prices even more- now, a two story that was $226,000 is in the 170's <_< <_<

  10. I was just told by a neighbor that in Thursdays edition of the Dallas New Era, all unsold homes in our communtiy are to be auctioned next month..Does anyone know where I can see this info online?

To tell the truth, I am surprised it took this long, I feel really bad for the builders, but am concerned about what happens now?

  11. I would love to be able to be on my feet again...

In August 2006 my husband had a stroke and I cannot tell you how much my life has changed. I'm so thankful he is still here and I'm glad to have him but I really miss being ok.

I lost my best friend that day. Now I'm a caregiver and not a wife.

I lost my financial helpmate and now I'm constantly battling the fiscal nightmare that is my life. I have gone through savings and everthing I could sell. The Social Security Administration doesn't believe my husband is disabled. Our hearing will be in October of 2010.

I lost my ability to spoil my child and he has had to grow up way to fast.

I lost my ability to give to others... I want nothing but to give to my husband, my son, my family and all of the people who need.

My Christmas wish is to be me again.

Wow.....Just when I start letting everything get to me, I see that others have it alot harder than I. Denise- I hope that you get your wish too.

  12. My daughter bought a Kitchen Aide set from Sams ($100 on clearance) last year and they are already peeling and the non stick surface is coming off inside the pots & pans. I have a $50 set of T-Fal, and they are good!! Really pots & pans are just that and can't do anything special. So, I am NOT going to pay "high dollar" for any of them.

I got the same set, although it was NOT on clearance, they are doing the same thing to me, and have always been handwashed <_< <_<

  13. I think that you should have a choice in between you can eat off of the floors, and it is lived in...  My husband does do anything and everything that has to do with the trash, but I do the rest. It works for us, as I would end up just having to go back and redo whatever it was that he did.

Oh yeah, he does do the yard work too..I look at it this way, I am a SAHM, and have been since my oldest was born..I treat my housework like my job, as I feel that the home is my job. Like I said, it works for us.
