  1. When a plane makes a stop at an airport it depends of whether the flight crew is changing out. If so, all passengers must get off the plane.
  2. MIAMI (AP) — Gene Hackman's publicist says the veteran Oscar-winning actor was briefly hospitalized after a truck bumped him from behind while he was riding a bicycle in the Florida Keys. Susan Madore says the 81-year-old Hackman was airlifted to a Miami hospital Friday afternoon. She characterized his injuries as minor bumps and bruises. She says he was released from the hospital several hours later after routine tests. The Florida Highway Patrol reports that Hackman was riding on an Islamorada street around 3 p.m. when the pickup hit the back of his bicycle, throwing him onto the grassy shoul
  3. A few thoughts I found... interesting at the least. " 1. History Lesson: Solders have been peeing on their dead enemies since the first solder killed his first enemy. 2. It's good to be reminded that war is hell. 3. If you don't want to be killed and be peed on, don't go to war. 4. Pious outrage is cheap theatrical bluster. Solders are paid to kill. 5. If you don't want to be killed and peed on, don't try and kill a marine. 6. Apologies will be officially made to all aggrieved parties, but really, it's tough luck and they don't care what you think. Peeing on th
  4. And there are no passing zones on Nebo road - double yellow lines from end to end.
  5. I used to like making that tailgater eat it when I get into the turn lane at Bill Carruth at the first "legal" opportunity - most times making that tailgater behind me serve into on-coming traffic because they were not only speeding, taIlgating, but crossing the gore for a turning lane.
  6. Makes you wonder why Obama and Panetta aren't taking the same kind of heat from the media as Bush and Rumsfeld did over Abu Ghraib.
  7. You're probably are the only one here who knows the cost difference between a four way stop intersection and a traffic light. Maybe putting a round-about there would make everyone happy?
  8. 430 is MUCH too late to be leaving Alpharetta and heading back to Paulding County. 345 at the latest.
  9. The traffic going across those rumble strips can be heard several thousands of feet away.
  10. Try it again with it connected to the laptop, but this time create an account on that laptop that is the same as the one you had on the desktop and make sure you log into that account on the laptop when you try to access that external drive.
  11. What? I don't have to take my catheter with me anymore???
  12. I had a similar commute but I would leave at about 5:45 in the morning and I could be there shortly before 7AM. When I left around 3PM I could be home around 4:15.
  13. I usually call it a night between 9:30 and 10:30 every night. I'll wake up around 6 - most times without the alarm clock. I may wake up during the night for a bathroom run - which is always better than not waking up for it. If I wake up during the night I have no trouble going back to sleep. However, I have found that my sleep rhythm has gotten much better since I started using CPAP about a year ago. Now, when I put it on I'm asleep in 5-10 minutes and out for the duration.
  14. You can tell I'm not British because I have good dental health.
  15. Now, BlondieGA1, are you going to be taking your daughter to see David Lee Roth (Van Halen) on tour this spring???
  16. Generally speaking, affect is a verb and effect is a noun. When you affect something, you produce an effect on it. Even in the passive voice, something would be affected, not effected. The correct example would be: By not voting I affected the outcome. What effect would I have if I didn't vote?
  17. The Offence gave up. The Defense was the only Falcon side that scored any points.
  18. "Jose has 5 kids and gets $25 a week per child. If Jose has 2 more kids, how much will Jose get in welfare payments in a week?"
  19. I wonder how well that show would have done if it had been slated for an early evening time slot - like Dallas. Dynasty or other shop opera type shows. I think that's what made it popular - wives could watch it in the afternoon before their husbands got home, kids could watch it in the daytime so they wouldn't get scared...
  20. I think your only choice is to use the provider in your area,...... or not.
