I have the AR-15 locked and loaded behind the bedroom door just in case they start feeling frisky and want to come after Blondie's ducks. And there is a locked and loaded 12 gauge in the kitchen. Oh and a locked and loaded .380 Beretta in Blondie's desk. Moral of the story. Don't go sneaking around our house, there is generally a locked and loaded firearm close by.

West Metro Meat Market has the best beef in town. They usually have decent sales. Bone in Rib eye can be had for $8.99 a pound at times. They are not always cheaper but they are a far cry better! For the past couple of weeks Kroger had whole New York strips for $5.99 a pound. I know that is a large initial outlay for a hunk of meat, but they will cut it any way you want it or you can cut it yourself. About a month ago they had whole rib eyes for $6.99 a pound, Again about an $80 outlay to begin with but for $6.99 a pound when the norm is $12.99 or higher. We usually buy one, I cut it and w

It's not too unusual though, These days they like for the swelling to come and go before they put you in a cast. They waited a week after I broke my ankle before they would do surgery, they wanted the swelling to go down before they caused even more. I went to an out of network ortho for my ankle, so it's not just a Kaiser thing.
