I hate the bad/distracted drivers too, but as much as I would like to run them off the road (I have a great idea for some kind of spatula hooked to the front of my car, you activate it and flip the car ahead of you...I can always dream)...I DON'T DO IT!!! Just isn't civilized.

That's an interesting location, but it doesn't seem like a good fit. I had no idea where Dawson Co was, and was surprised to see it north of Lake Lanier. Between ATL and Macon could be the best alternative, but if costs are broken down, the Paulding location will be the cheapest in terms of land.

With all due respect, but as time passes, you might not have much of a choice. The Atlanta Metro continues to grow, which will only increase the demand for a second airport, which as stated earlier, will be necessary in 20-30 years. From a devil's advocate point of view, would Atlanta want to pay 2030 prices for land to build another airport south or east of the city, or use the land it paid for 35 years ago (1975) here in PC? Hartsfield-Jackson cannot add another runway as far as I understand, so its traffic will presumably only grow over the coming years. Heck, Southwest might be flying into

PC will look like a completely different place in 20 years. I can see the resort being successful if done tastefully. I plan on attending future meetings if I can. I doubt I'll break in with Paulding, but I'll have a degree in Public Administration by the end of August. I hope to find some kind of position somewhere...I'm really interested in urban development and transportation. It would be great if I found a position along those lines.

Well, this line of conversation is a hijack, but for the most part, I like the plan. A few caveats. Not all are cut out for military service, so other ideas for a two year service program should be developed. WPA type stuff. Also, it shouldn't be mandatory, but if you don't participate, you shouldn't get a thing from the government, including educational support. OP, glad you found your daughter.

I saw that too. The thing that is most obvious about that map is the lack of BLUE, meaning industry. Contrasted with the amount of residential zones, its no wonder why 75% of PC commutes outside of the county, and why we have unemployment over 10%.
