What do you see as the solution to the transportation issues in Paulding? Obviously we need more jobs in the county, but are future businesses in Paulding looking elsewhere due to our lack of an interstate or a highway conducive to heavy transportation? Is Paulding destined to be a bedroom community?

Hello all, I'm working on my senior thesis for a Public Administration degree, and I'm focusing on how transportation impacts the economy of Paulding County. Much of the paper will include current infrastructure projects, but a good chunk will explore the economic impact of the airport, light rail construction connecting to Atlanta (yeah, a pipe dream), and an interstate which could serve as a bypass to Atlanta (another pipe dream). Thanks for posting this Pubby. I will be unable to attend tomorrow, but I was honored to be with a large group of people by Regions Bank on Saturday. As sad as this experience is for all involved, we're also very proud of Ryan and the support the community has showed.

We are right by Regions Bank (KMart). Large crowd and growing.
