  1. I thought it was only supposed to hit the millionaires and billionaires? So they could pay their fair share!
  2. A fact is looked at as an attack.... now I recall why I don't have the need to talk to liberals
  3. I'll wait for Zooperson to post an article on how things are looking up before I comment.
  4. don't forget about the ball joints too - they are probably shot.....
  5. Okay, "Georgia law requires that no person (dealers, auctioneers or individuals) sell a used vehicle, if such vehicle is to be registered in one of the 13 covered counties (Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, Coweta, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry, Paulding, and Rockdale), unless such vehicle has a valid, passing certificate of vehicle emission inspection at the time of sale (DNR Rule 391-3-20-.18(1))" somehow will not apply to you.
  6. Per state law, the seller is responsible for providing you the emission's test. Reference: http://www.cleanairforce.com/stations/usedcar.php I think the seller violated the law when the vehicle was sold - and I assume you purchased at a good price based on needed repairs. 7. I wonder how much the old facility cost? Anyone know?
  8. Check Pat's post on channels directly available to a comcast internet subscirber: http://paulding.com/forum/index.php/topic/286198-direct-digital-channels-available-over-cable-shown/page__p__3619011__hl__comcast__fromsearch__1#entry3619011
  9. I use pauldingfriend's method but I use the grill outside to help with smoking. When I clean I bring water to a boil and then scrub out. It then take some vegetable shortening and coat the dish/pan/pot again and store with newspaper or paper towel in the dish if it has a top.
  10. look at the mohu leaf indoor - $39 shipped from amazon - I'm sure it will work great for you.
  11. Here is a handy tool for signal prediction for your area: http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=29
  12. I've seen a 10% increase just over the past few weeks. And that Zoo poster said prices were going down....
  13. check out the mohu leaf antenna along with a streaming box (xbox, roku, etc.) you would have two inputs to the TV.

  16. well, I saw then go up .10cents/gallon yesterday.....
  17. I am glad it was a hoax - otherwise oboma would be wanting to kill all Eagles to save children.
  18. The question is what will the final cost to the taxpayer to bail out a publicly traded company be? Had normal bankruptcy procedures been followed then the strangle hold the union has on GM would have been broken and a stronger company would have emerged. No big deal to me other than my wasted tax $s. I'll never own one of their products.
  19. I have only seen beef offered last month, bacon a month or so before that, with the two chicken offers for next month in my area (Acworth)
  20. Purchased 40# of their beef last month and it seems to be a good value for the product and price. It was a lot of work to weight out, vaccuum pack and freeze 40 pounds of beef, but worth the savings. Anyone purchased the breaded chicken tenders ($1.99/#) or the cooked buffalo chicken wings at $2.99/# that can provide a review?
  21. payback to the unions to keep their record benefits and salaries that helped get GM in the mess they were (and still are) in.

  23. I am a CRBI member and recieved an email update this morning. The #5 worse water offender in the state was listed as the Richland Creek project. In the article, found here, http://www.garivers.org/gawater/pdf%20files/RichlandCreek5.pdf it states that the Paulding Water department can't account for 25% of the water it currently purchases from Cobb with 15% being lost to leaking pipes.... While I have always favored drinking water over a darter fish or mussels in Alabama, the article does raise a good point. What happens to that water paid for and not delivered to paying customers?
  24. would love to help and vote daily - too bad the facebook thing is required.
