  1. The State Department is planning to boost spending on the United Nations in 2014 by more than 4 percent to at least $3.6 billion. That is likely to be far from the final tally of Obama Administration support, as hundreds of millions of dollars in U.S. development, health and other funds are usually channeled through U.N. agencies and institutions — with the U.N. agencies taking administrative fees as part of the deal. The most recent tally on the website of the White House Management and Budget website, for example, lists support for the U.N. at $7.7 billion — in 2010. The projected spen
  2. Young people think they're invincible and rarely think of making a Will, much less making a Living Will. If you have children, talk to them about it and get it done. I'm sure that 21 year old never thought a minute about it... Bobby Brown is probably going to hold on to her until her organs have totally shut down with no chance for any recovery. This will also mean that her organs won't do anyone any good if they were to donate them.
  3. We lived in an HOA controlled community in Paulding for over 18 years. I never saw any good come from having it other than providing some people a 'power trip'. The homes in the area continue to decline in appearance. The people who bought our house there over 3 years ago have really let the outside maintenance go and the house and yard looks terrible - and I'm sure the HOA is doing anything to correct it since it is prevalent around the entire subdivision. You can't regulate people to keep their places up. It's up to the individual to have the internal motivation for that. In the subdivis
  4. And these same people want to be counted on as "accurate" in their forecasting of global warming occurring over the next century. They can't even get a forecast within 12 hours accurate...
  5. "Oscar award winning actor and musician Jared Leto hit the Oscars over the weekend to present to Patricia Arquette, and once again his looks and fashion style was linked to the Son of God." Really??? I don't recall Jesus ever wearing a tux...
  6. Yeah, and I was offended by the "Ferguson" and "Hands up" reference in his rap - while everyone knows that was a LIE. And then to continue in their acceptance speech that their 'rights' are being taken away from them. News Flash dude, our 'rights' are being taken away from ALL OF US. Get off your high horse...
  7. I hope every organization starts firing people who have lied. And don't stop with news commentators, continue right on to our politicians... It's only fair.
  8. http://americannews.com/obama-says-americans-must-unite-with-muslims-and-makes-this-demand/ “The world must continue to lift up the voices of Muslim clerics and scholars who teach the true peaceful nature of Islam,” the president continued, claiming that Islamic extremists and ISIS misrepresent the Muslim community. “Groups like al-Qaida and ISIL exploit the anger that festers when people feel that injustice and corruption leave them with no chance of improving their lives.”
  9. This country has turned on its head. You're now guilty until proven innocent.
  10. I just got this and thought I would pass it on. Only weeks after leaving office on January 20, 2017, former president Obama discovers a leak under his sink, so he calls Joe the Plumber to come out and fix it. Joe drives to Obama's new house, located in a very exclusive, gated community near Chicago where all the residents have a net income of more than $250,000 per year. Joe arrives and takes his tools into the house. Joe is led to the guest bathroom that contains the leaky pipe under the sink. Joe assesses the problem and tells Obama that it's an easy repair that will take less than 10
  11. I guess we all need to sit down and sing Kum Ba Yah and apologize for making them feel so aggressive toward everyone, since we know it's got to be our fault.
  12. And all the Postage to send the bills to you - only to have you use on-line banking to pay them and avoid the postage back. :-) Years ago, back when all phones were dial types, they came out with these new fangled touch tone phones (not the ones with buttons that still sent out pulse signals). Touch tone service was actually cheaper for the phone company to process, but because it was 'new' they would add a charge on your bill for 'Touch Tone' service. I remember my Dad refusing to use touch tone phones and made them remove the charge off his bill. Of course today, they'd probably bil
  13. Obama also said that no single religion was responsible for violence and terrorism, adding he wants to lift up the voice of tolerance in the United States and beyond.
  14. There is a big difference in teaching students HOW to think vs WHAT to think. Sadly, most teachers only want to teach their own (or what they're told) opinions, which they claim as facts. “The facts need to be discussed sensibly and scientifically, without first deciding on the results.” IPCC
  15. From http://www.niagarafrontier.com/faq.html#what The American Falls have frozen over on six occasions since the keeping of records began. Each were attributed to ice jams that have actually curtailed the flow of the American Falls to mere trickles. Was the post below by Brian Williams???

  17. 'We Can't Kill Our Way Out': State Dept Cites 'Lack of Jobs' for Rise of ISIS State Department spokesperson Marie Harf said on MSNBC that the U.S. cannot "kill our way out" of the war against ISIS, bringing up job creation as a long-term solution to stopping the terror army. "We’re killing a lot of them and we’re going to keep killing more of them, so are the Egyptians, so are the Jordanians. They’re in this fight with us. But we cannot win this war by killing them, we cannot kill our way out of this war," Harf said. "We need, in the longer term, medium and longer term, to go after the
  18. Global Warming Apocalypse Canceled My greener friends are increasingly troubled by the lack of a rise in recent global surface temperatures. Using monthly data measured as the departure from long-term averages, there’s been no significant warming trend since the fall of 1996. In other words, we are now in our 17th year of flat temperatures. http://www.cato.org/publications/commentary/global-warming-apocalypse-canceled It’s Too Cold To Protest Global Warming At Yalehttp://dailycaller.com/2015/02/13/its-too-cold-to-protest-global-warming-at-yale/
