  1. What does she care? I'd much rather see an affair!!! I loathe Vicki. The woman has no soul.
  2. The real Housewives of OC! They went to Italy...it was awesome!! first, they ended up staying in a small hotel...and were offended! Then, they got all pissed that the Italians don't speak English. This poor woman couldn't order wine... The coolest is that their tour guide was the same girl that I had when I was there. Love this show! Money cannot buy class!
  3. Not yet. And when we do, we'll just give something away and all those people in the middle will come and just check the boxes. Which is fine, it's really just paper work. But, there are the few that actually take these willingly and I wanted to know what the motivators are...I can draw some correlations. For instance, the folks that have been employed, in the higher positions or with the company 6+ years exhibit the "check the box" mentality, but they're first responders --
  4. This is so funny...but I have never purchased a pair of boxers. They've all been acquired. While I can't match them to their owners anymore, it is a tangible notch on the bedpost.
  5. Well, not the voluntary surveys. Here - let's see if this help. I am looking at data from an office building. It's a survey on tenant satisfaction. It asks questions, on a scale, about things like air temperature, cleanliness, odor, privacy, etc. Out of 2500 tenants, I got about 400 back - which means that most won't take the time. Of the ones that did, 85% of them have something to say. But, I really feel that most people will not take the time to fill one out unless they are really unhappy with whatever the survey is asking them about...or if they're really happy. Depending on the type
  6. I am currently reviewing data for one of my projects and it requires a survey. So, as I was going through them, I'm sitting here wishing that more people would just check the same boxes down the line - then I remembered when I was the author of the survey and really wanted opinions to make improvements - and then I thought about how I take surveys! Anyways, just wondering how you guys do surveys.
  7. What am I doing wrong? Just says, "posted image"
  8. I hate Vicki...loathe her. She's awful. She's so freakin' miserable! I hate Vicki...loathe her. She's awful. She's so freakin' miserable!
  9. Oh Gosh!! I just watched the first season of the Real Housewives of the OC...This is going to be a GREAT season! Gretchen is still AHMAZING looking. Wow. And Tamara looks a lot better this season. She must have had a bit of work done in the off season.
  10. Genius. I drive that bridge everyday, and it's not designed for thru traffic. If you don't live back in those neighborhoods, there's plenty of other ways to get to places in the area. Just my .02.
  11. I get that part...but what happens? Do you get a bullet if you get too many negative? Do you get a mayberry if you get a bunch of positives? Is there an awards ceremony at the end of the year? Here's what I see happening, when pcommers get in a pissing match, people are going to be able to say, "You see, So and so made the post go off the cliff because she has the most negative rep points in the thread". It's just going to be used as additional ammunition. The negative points will eventually be worn as a badge of honor...to hide the sadness. And then there's people like me that would
  12. Are you talking evenings? I'd be in. Have tried bikram??? Girl..it's worth the drive!!! I'm going to try to check out a Zumba class this weekend, too. Looks like fun!
  13. Don't worry, there are a handful that will stand by your bullying no matter what your pcom rating says! Coyotes run in packs, heard they were seen in D'ville recently. Ever been to Howl at the Moon? Oh dear...that place has a portion of my soul.
  14. We are all a victim of a bad economy. I'm actually very excited for the holidays this year. I started my Christmas shopping months ago and I'm happy to say that I'm almost done and I've probably spent far less than any other year. We're taking the savings to give a dozen extra boxes to the church this year. I even made a few gifts this year! We're going to Florida to see family - but we decided to go after Christmas and got our tickets early. Paid a little over $200 a piece. I'm just so excited to have our families together this year - maybe that's why this Christmas has me so excited.
  15. I've recently created a blog about the green movement to help consumers make the best choices that they can - especially in this region. I plan to fill it with information that we can all use when we want to make socially responsbile choices. www.greenclutter.com ETA: It's far from complete!
  16. I came across this old video while looking for the commercial for Alyssa Milano's Teen Steam...which apparently I'm the only one that remembers this classic jingle. Still, take a look at Alyssa...she looks like, well, her age. I'm fairly certain that they wouldn't allow Miley Cyrus, or any teen for that matter, to make a work-out video these days. I'm sure somewhere, someone would make a child porn referrence...but imagine if they did. I can promise you that it would look nothing like this.
  17. Me and my 7 year old are going to see it tonight! VERY excited!
  18. I guess it really doesn't bother me...it just makes me search for the closest soap box and start spouting out statistics.
  19. Yep, you're crunchy. I actually got into a huge debate about this...I used to much more "like you". When my son was young, I was into natural parenting. When I was married and could afford it, it was always organic. And I was a vegitarian for a while as well. You'd have thought I was strait out of Portland. Anyways, this woman and I met during that time in my life. She's maintained. She's actually giving away organic zero HFC lollipops for Halloween. I've had to let a lot of it go because I can't afford it. I still recycle, cloth bags, etc. but I had made reference to myself being
  20. Believe it or not, Big box leads the industry in large scale energy projects. The blue big box retro'ed thier retail store MUCH earlier....a small sample aving almost 2M. We recently did a project for a large rent-to-own, where efficient lighting saved nearly 3M a year over the US with alomst NO upfront cost. I dont know anything anbout deposits, but I think that there is *some* incentive because the homeless that I've worked with collected cans. NC-17, pat yourself on the back. I make my living off of being "green" and I don't do HALF of what you do on a personal level. Thank you fo
  21. One of the things in life that gets my goat more than anything...is when "we" (personally, professionally, singular or plural) continue to do things the wrong way because, "that's the way we've always done it". This begs the question, why? Are the companies not available to recycle this waste product? If so...any idea what the start up costs would be, cauase it sounds like a damn needed thing! Funny thing I learned today. I went to Europe this spring and they have 2 buttons on their toilets. Not knowing why, I just pushed them...both, one, whichever one produced a flushing sound. Well, I
  22. Of course not. I refer to that as class A office space! What building is that? And I have to believe that while you may not have LEED certified that - you probably could have. I mean, to simply certify a building, it's really not hard. I'm sure that you put in low flow plumbing, reflective roofs, core metering, etc. While there's fees involved in certifying that building...you're going to to have to tell me where you live so I can come and personally kick your ass (with you leasing agent of course) for not getting that building certified. 3% increase in rental rates per sq ft.
