No. I can honestly say, no. I can't blame anyone but me for what I did and I am not a victim. Actually, I've had to become more resourceful and it's made me a better person - even when something goes the wrong way as a result (which happens from time to time), I'm THANKFUL for the reminder and I take it as an opportunity to pat myself on the back for learning from my mistakes. I don't think you can have a felony and be in law enforcement, but you know better than me. And I'm all for people turning their life around. I'm curious... Do you take the same stance with pregnancy that you do with drugs? We all but beat it into our children to keep them away from drugs, but we tend to coddle them for things like pregnancy, for example: "If I ever find drugs in your room you will lose your car, phone and be grounded until you're 18." Does this sound right? Now, I ask you, is that what the conversation sounds like when you talk to your girls/boys about pregnancy? Or does it take a more passive approach and usually end in something like, "you know you can always come to me and we'll work it out."
