I addresed your misinformed idea about the sports programs. But, I did not address the parental involvement/homework statement. When did it become a "trend" for parental involvement? Why would parents not be involved? Why would that be an issue? As far as homework goes, I have seen a trend to little to no homework. I find that very strange. Without homework how does a parent know what their child is being taught? Homework can be a way for kids to really master the subject. I'm not so sure that's important any more.

What if they had gotten the shot, and got the flu anyway? If we get sick we do deal with it. We even stay away from other folks while were sickly. Funny thing though..........I can't remember the last time anyone was sick in our home.

I don't know bout those flu shots. My friend's parents are in a nursing home, and they have to stay in their room, because the flu is rampant there. All those old folks got the shot, and it didn't do any good. We don't get them either.

I've seen Grease many times. My mom gave me the soundtrack album for Christmas the year it came out. If she knew what the lyrics to Greased lightning were, she would have never have bought the album for me, likewise Saturday Night Fever. Speaking of Saturday Night Fever, that's another one I have never seen the full movie.
