Wow seems like I touched a nerve. Don't act all dumb on me!! These are the moms who sit in the stand and talk about what so and so has on, what so and so did, what so and so's child did. Like a little pack of hyenas. I don't participate in gossiping, so I don't want to be no where around it, so that's why I sit to myself. I'm too old and grown for that. That's what little girls do, they learn it from their momma's. Are these the moms that are at every fundraiser? Are these the moms who are trying to make sure that EVERY player on the team has a great season? Are these the moms that work the concession stands, and gates EVERY game? So you can stand off by yourself? Are these the moms that when the coach needs new equipment, or money to get equipment fixed, they figure out how to make it happen? Age has nothing to do with it. They are the same snobby, cliquish, backstabbers now as they were in elementary, middle, high, and collage. They will always gravitate to the same type of people, no matter the age.

Oh, heck honey, don't pay any attention to our resident know it all. If I recall correctly s/he/it sends the little critters to private school, and I think it's a (gasp) Christian school. I could be mistaken about the Christian part. However it doesn't send the critters to the public school of which it is so adamant you should. I just call that a hypocrite. You know public school is good for yours, but not for mine.

You totally missed the point. Again your blaming the weapon, and not the person. In general I think that our culture of disregarding the value of life contributes to much of this violence. Do we use our children as shields? I really don't know the answer. I do know that I'm concerned about the world my youngest, and my grand children are coming into. I'm not a morning person either. Blue, parents have to be allowed to be parents. You know as well as I do that there will always be those who make excuses for bad /evil behavior. It is NEVER the person's fault.

No, weapon ownership is the EASIEST thing to blame. You can't understand that it is the person wielding the weapon (gun, machete, knife, bomb, etc.) that can be that demented, and evil. Truthfully I do think that the increasing anti-moral society we live in has much to do with this. After all you now hear GD on TV, but not sheeze. That's just one of the many changes I have noticed since I was a kid. BTW, it wasn't all that long ago.

And, a lot of the shortcomings the "professional" teachers have as well. I still use my resources to fill in the gaps for middle schooler. That, and the letter to King George. Among other things.

So, just for clarification. It's not the murder's fault, he has no, none, nada, responsibility in this. The weapons just up, and jumped into his hands, and started killing on their own. Is it just me, or does it seem that these things are happening more since the "everybody gets a trophy" movement, then before? Could it be that parents aren't allowed to be parents anymore?
