  1. Now, that makes more sense. I don't have an issue with that.
  2. This is exactly what the goal is. But, we have been going down this road for a while.
  3. Having worked in restaurants, and cashiering I tend to do everything I can to not be a pain. I could tell you some horror stories, but suffice it to say I don't play. I have been known to let a customer know that their behavior is unacceptable. Funny how when called out on stuff like that, folks often check themselves.
  4. I don't think it would be that hard to put it on an SD card. Does it not act the same as any other removable memory device? But, back to the subject at hand. If Cady is so bad (and after looking at their photo shopped photos I agree) why not support your local photographers? Let the schools know that while the company may give back a percentage you are still the ones paying for a product that is below par.
  5. Question? This topic has come up a couple of times in the past two years. You would think/hope that those of you would have gone to the "powers that be" about the shoddy work of this photographer. The amount of money that y'all are talking about is a lot, and it seems to me you are NOT getting your money's worth. I do thank you for the heads up about this person. There are numerous local photographers that do wonderful work. I know when it comes tome for DS to have his pictures made I will be contacting one of them.
  6. From the audience. Congratulations on your award.
  7. Well if the "haves" can drive down the price, would it not help the "have nots?" I have started saving for DS graduation. He is only in 8th grade right now, but because we save for his sports, and are saving for his graduation, I guess that makes him a "have." Why can the school/s not use the same gowns? Why can the kids not rent them? I know back in the stone age at my "inner city" school that's what we did. Why not do that? I know what school you were talking about. If I remember correctly the school was supposed to keep the donated gowns for use this year. Did that not happen? Why could
  8. They were delivered, and signed for. They just weren't delivered to the right person.
  9. Wrestlingmomof2 may know someone who does pictures.
  10. We do need to have these things written down, for the future. One of the things I have started encouraging my extended family members to do is talk to our elders before they pass, so we can have their words about their life. Before history gets anymore effed up.
  11. I hope you had a wonderful, ducky birthday!!
  12. Rain seems to turn men into bitchy little girls. I'm just ready for it to stop already.
  13. yep, I think we would have the same reaction.
  14. The downside of not living in a neighborhood. At least when the two little girls across the street get old enough, we'll have at least two. We still put out the decorations, just not a much as we used to. I'm thinking I might let 8th grader have a Halloween party for his friends. It'll keep some 12-15yr olds out of trouble.
  15. I actually miss having trick or treaters. I always got a kick out of the little ones costumes.
  16. Could the dog have been having a seizure? Could it have thrown a blood clot? The lizard could've just been a coincidence.
  17. Looking forward to seeing you too. And, thanks my friend.
