  1. Guaranteed I would be a weepy mess, if I had been there. Last night my grandchildren, me, and 14yr old went to the Holiday lights of hope in Woodstock. I had my back to one of the displays, but turned around just in time to see my 4yr old granddaughter twirling, and dancing to the music, and lights of one of the displays. She was in her own little world that only a 4yr old can be in. I think I fell in love just a little more at that moment.
  2. I could do that. I would still have to have sweet tea though. Just because I like it. LOL
  3. Ooh I didn't think about allergies. Yep Nathan's is a safe bet. But what kind of wine goes with hotdogs? I'm thinking Hemingway, Melville, and Obama will be good with beer, but what about the others? Did they have beer during the Biblical age? With my luck Lee, Grant, and Lincoln will all be teetotalers. The person from area 51...umm what do extra terrestrials drink?
  4. Well, I wonder if fried chicken is Kosher? I know seafood is. So, I guess we'll start with that, and go from there.
  5. 1. Jesus 2. Any one with the highest clearance at area 51 3. Obama 4. Herman Melville 5. Hemingway 6. Robert E. Lee 7. Grant 8. Abraham Lincoln I will think of the other 4 later.
  6. I will add her to our prayers. I hope you have a Merry Christmas (as Merry as it can be) as well Dana.
  7. I knew you would understand w/o me having to draw you a picture.
  8. I don't think that was the point. I still don't think that was the point.
  9. Oh honey, don't even try. The answer certainly isn't throwing MORE money at the issue. School choice, as in charter schools, and yes, even private schools. Let the money follow the student.

You ever notice it's ALWAYS the VETS and OLD PEOPLE? But, I know there are some people on this very board that have no problem with it. http://www.military.com/daily-news/2013/12/13/house-trims-pay-raises-for-troops-retirees.html?ESRC=army.nl Dec 13, 2013 | by Brendan McGarry The U.S. House of Representatives passed legislation Thursday that would reduce pay raises for troops and retirement benefits for veterans. A day before adjourning for holiday recess, the Republican-controlled chamber voted 332-94 to approve the Bipartisan Budget Act. Under t
  11. That's normal, for them to split up the tips. My husband worked for WM back when we were much younger, and he said that's what they did. If we have it yes. If we don't I bake some cookies, and leave a card. Christmas was always fun at the clinic. Many of the clients, and drug reps would bring in all kinds of goodies. They would start the first of December, and continue till sometimes New Years. One year a particularly difficult client really surprised us with a gift of goodies. They continued to be difficult, but it made it easier to deal with them.
  12. Yep, I gave our daughter all but one of her ornaments when she got married. We still have 33yr olds ornaments. IF he ever gets married he will get his for their tree. otherwise we have all different kinds of ornaments.

  16. Check to see if there is a road with a name simler to yours. For example; we live on Pine Shadows DRIVE. Off of Clyde Cole is a road called Pine Shadows COURT. Apparently there is a house with the same house number as ours. Every once in a while we will get mail for the Pine Shadows court address. I'm sure they may get the same for us as well.
  17. They are $37.00, $45.00, and $65.00 Depending on the size. The trees are Frasier firs. http://paulding.com/forum/index.php/topic/305581-christmas-trees/page__p__3855525__fromsearch__1#entry3855525
  18. This is from the mother of the girl that stood up to the bully. "I just want to say THANKS to everyone who has sent in prayers, support and encouragement for my daughter Mikaela. I know many of you have seen the news or heard from others what happened. You cannot imagine how I felt when I got the phone call from Mikaela telling me that I needed to come meet her at the school bus because she had been jumped in a fight. So many thoughts rushed through my mind and my heart. As a parent it's really hard to know if you are instilling the right values or morals into your children unti
  19. Growing up beside PBIA (Palm Beach International Airport) we would often have to interrupt our conservations while the planes took off or landed. An often heard phrase when speaking on the phone was, "hold on there is a plane going over." Truthfully I don't want to have that again. We moved out here to get away from noise, and traffic. We knew moving out here meant that we might have to drive a little further for shopping, and that's OK. IF we as a community had a chance to vote on this thing that is so very much impacting our lives, I would vote NO.
