Just checking. Looks like I'll need a cheat sheet for them.

I know there's a basic length, and some other things, but what you might think isn't good enough just might be.

Wear a name tag. So I will know who ya are. That's the Kroger I usually go to.

Do you donate your hair to "locks of love?"

I'm thinking we need to check into earthquake insurance. That way we'll never have one.

Same name. Basically same avatar. Made some new friends.

Earthquake, smurfquake. I wanna hear about this. One of the dogs barked, no body else seemed to care, and the human animals didn't notice.

They did the right thing.

Christmas is about the only holiday I make a big deal out of. Easter is the other one. The rest I acknowledge, but that's about it. I do get folks a birthday card.

No, and neither does my husband. Heck we didn't even spend that much when we got married 29yrs ago today.

You're forgiven... this time.. LOL And they're trying to sneak us into year around schooling, this whole break thing will only get worse the more they sneak... Thanks. I agree that they are sneaking it in. But, that's another gripe for another day. Pubby, the quote, and smiley things are still jacked up.
-
I know we have been gripping about the missed days, and how jacked up everything is. Well all is moot at this point. So, instead of us gripping about all that, we can make a differance by helping our kids prep for the CRCT. Yet something else to gripe about. Anyway here is a link (if you don't already have it) to some practice stuff. http://www.paulding.k12.ga.us/content_page2.aspx?cid=2194

Actually I've never been in favor of the "winter break" anyway. However, in the short time that we have lived in GA (27yrs) I know that January/February are/seem to be the most questionable months as far as freaky weather. So, it makes sense that if there is going to be this "winter break" that it be used for make up days. FTR: when my oldest kids were in school I don't recall having to deal with all this. I guess if we had a schedule where the kids were in class more then not, this whole issue would be moot. However with all the breaks, and half days I feel that the kids education is at risk

I hope she goes to her daughter's wedding. I also hope she lets the "powers that be" know that it was planned specifically for that time, because of our schedule. At least it's a better excuse then "oh we were stupid enough to make a trip plan during the scheduled make up day week." Yes, I think if you are stupid enough to make a trip plan for the "winter break" knowing that weather in January/February is jacked up, and that week may/should be used for make up days, then to bad so sad. Now I have to wonder when/if spring break will be used, and if I can get my money back for certain plans

My response to the Falcons concerning me ticket renewal.

They have set up a specfic line for those of us who have been with them for a while. I called last week, and let them know that direct company was offering me a better deal. They lowered our bill, and upgraded our boxes. They will, due to weather we have had to reschedule for next week. Give them a call. You might be suprised. -
Thanks Dude. But, next time could you keep the cable on as well?
-
Don't pay no mind to that person. You know it only takes one idiot that Darwin missed to screw it up for those of us that can think for our selves.
-
How very sad. I am so sorry.

I thought of this thread when I seen it posted on FB.

I've not had any issues in all the years I have been with Comcast. I swear I must live in a bubble. Anyway, they are coming out next week to switch out my cable boxes, and upgrade me to the new system they have. I called them last week about to get them to lower my bill, and they did. Although the cable did go out for a little bit really early this morning, but it was back when we got up.
