We've had a ton of Cardinals, Robins, and finches. We also have a Red bellied wood pecker. I know there's a Plaited wood pecker some where in our woods. I hear it mainly in the mornings.

I know that at some point this will need to get moved, but before you do could you leave it here for at least the weekend? The annual PCHS Patriot football Boston Butt sale is now here. See any Patriot football player to buy your pre-sale ticket. They are $25.00 a piece and will be ready for pick up May 16th. If you know of any Jr. Patriots they should have tickets as well. The dead line for pre sales is this coming Thursday the 24th. Thank you for your support.

New neighbor moving in, need help re-homing cats
gog8tors replied to 7 cats's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I have re-posted this on my FB. I also sent it to a friend of mine who works at Good Mews. You might want to check with them, if they don't have room they may be able to give you some leads for some homing ideas. -

That's because they don't understand the counting up method. Sad really. Folks we are talking about BASIC math. Teach the kids the basics, and let them get proficient before heading to the higher math "concepts." Mastery is not expected in this common core thing.

Actually many states didn't adopt it, a few others started, then paused it, and still others that adopted it are now opting out. While the "standards" are that, the material that is suggested is very questionable. All this reminds of when my oldest started school, and they had decided to do this writing to read program. I think it lasted about 5yrs, before the schools went back to the old fashioned way of teaching the kids to read. You know phonics. Thank God my kids knew how to read before they started school.

Not in Fl. it wasn't. We were taught that subtraction is taking away, and addition is plus, or adding to and borrowing is exactly that. None of this regrouping terms were used. Heck they weren't even used when my oldest were in school here in the early 90s. So yes, this is new.

I had them disconnecting after all the automated stuff today. Unusual for them today (for me anyways) In general I have no complaints about Comcast.

"Jack wagon" is from a Gico comercial. The Gunny (I don't recall his name) called a wimpering guy that in the commercial. It ran like two years ago +/-.

Don't tell my kids about the no middle name. They each have two. Anyway Congratulations. God bless the little family.

They wrapped that one up pretty good. I think it was just a "mini series" type deal. That is awesome for Prince, and Snow. I like that they worked their true life pregnancy into the story line. I also think I read that his brother is married to her sister.

It was 5.00 to replace the one I lost. I still have to renew next year though. But I just have to take the proof of residence, because they already have the other stuff. On a side note, apparently when you go to buy a car now they check to see if your on the terrorist watch list. I bought a new (used) car today and found that out. Good news, neither me nor DH are on the watch list.

Where is/ are the father/s of these children? What "home" did she go to after being released? As I recall the first time that I heard/read this story she was homeless.

I lost my wallet about a month ago. I just took everything I could think of with me. BC, ML,SS (all three cards, the one with my maiden name, the one with my first marriage name, and my current one,) and Baptism record, adoption papers. I think I even took my divorce papers. I didn't have any problems, but was told that I would need to bring in 2 pieces of mail that had my name on it to prove where I live when I renew. She said I wouldn't have to bring in all the other stuff though. The lady told me that my BC wasn't good enough, because it didn't have a raised seal. I said "well it's the

I'm posting this on my FB. I have a ton of rescues/foster type people that may be able to help.

Dude I would be so ticked. Please PM me the name of the hotel. I have family, and friends that come in from other states, and I would hate for this to happen to them.

Well I reckon, I don't fit any of the stereotypes. Being raised in South Florida, you know where all the snowbirds like to go, and being raised by a North Carolinian. I've heard all of them. Y'all are just lucky I like some Yankees more then others. Oh, and 'yonder" is very much a direction. Usually meaning that you don't have that far to go to get to your destination.

Need small retaining walls replaced...recommendations?
gog8tors replied to chynnapink's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I'll look at it when I bring 14yr old to your house on Thursday. Maybe DH might have an idea or two. -
It depends on how old your house is, and if it is in a sub division or not. I need this same information, and called this department to no avail. The girl was very nice, and really tried to hep me out, but this information isn't available on our home. Our home was built in 1973, and we are not in a sub division.

Birthday card "Returned to Sender"? It had the correct address!
gog8tors replied to Mrs G's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Yeah, that's what I figured. I just think it's funny that my 28yr old daughter is getting AARP mail, and I'm not. -

While wer'e on the topic. My daughter (28) gets mail from AARP. She has never lived at this address either. We also get mail for our oldest some times, again he has never lived here. -
Hubs said he tried that. Got any more ideas?
-
Well actually it's the hubs. I have a 98 blazer, and the spark plugs (one of them) are misfiring. Anyway hubs can't get the wire off to change the plugs. Even 14yr old tried and couldn't do it. So, is there someone that will come to the house and help?
