A few thoughts. 1. OTC from the stores are extreamly dangerous to cats. The best products for cats are Advantage and Frontline. They DO NOT stay on the fur of the cat but are asorbed into the subcutantus fat of the skin. The flea jumps onto the pet and the product is asorbed by the legs of the flea paralizing and therby killing the flea. The flea does not even bite the pet. This is best for pets that go inside and outside. Although I do use Advantage for my inside only cat (I also have dogs). 2.
