If they can't prove their innocence by then with all the technology available, I seriously doubt that they are innocent. I'm sure you know everyone in prison is innocent, right?

Why not? Have you seen all the commercials for companies being sued for anything and everything under the sun? I mean if a woman can sue McDonalds for a hot cup of coffee, or a rapist can sue his victim, why can this family not sue for wrongful death? Whats wrong with giving them an overdose of anesthesia? After all that's what we give our pets when we euthanize them. As far as the "innocent" I am thinking that with all the technology available today that there are not that many "innocent" ones on death row.
