I would (just in case) talk with the recruiter. You know how kids are, they hear half of what is said, and then don't think about it afterwards. I totally agree. It does take two to make things work. We have also been at that brink. If you have done everything to make things work and they still don't there isn't much more you can do. If you are signing up for the Armed forces, NG or CG it is still the ARMED forces. I seriously doubt that the recruiters are telling the kids that they won't go to war.
