Two young girls dead in Dallas subdivision drowning
gog8tors replied to gpatt0n's topic in Fastread page
I am so sad for these families. My girlfriend lives in the sub-division. Her children play with the kids, and she taught one of the girls in first grade. This has effected so many in our little world. -
So you have no idea who Republicans are or what they believe in. Thanks for the warning. Now what are your ideas? Not helping

I wanted to add that Paulding Waste is a local company right here in Dallas. Always on time, always leaves the can where it's supposed to be.

Why is it that "anecdotal evidence" is dismissed so easily? Especially when the "anecdotal evidence" is what MOST folks experience. Also when it doesn't agree with the liberal/progressive BS. I turned down a job because it was a union shop. It was one of those where you didn't have a choice in the matter. My mom (God rest her soul) worked for the same company for as long as I can remember. This company made bedding for many of the big named mattress companies. There was talk of a union takeover, I remember her saying that if they did that the company would go out of business. BTW she was

There are solutions. Unfortunately most of the time there is no middle ground some are willing to walk. If a kid is disrupting a class the teacher must be able to send the kid out of the classroom. This will not happen because little Johnny/Jane's parental type people will get ticked. Answer for me- Place video cameras in the classroom. We have them on the buses. While a limited amount of "recovery" can be good, to allow a child to continue to take the test until they get it right is too much. The schools can also help with preparing our kids, not only for college, but for life as

Hey it really did rain. Oh, watching reruns of "Murder she wrote"

No, no let me help you out. You stated. Not yet, because for the time being one can "own" property.

Let me see if I understand what your saying. Young families (with/without children) should not have to scrimp, and save to buy a house. Damn, I sure wish it had been that way when we bought our house. I'll bet my parents felt the same way.
-
That's who we use. They even picked up our can when were behind on the bill. I've paid them for the whole year, so I forget what the quarterly rate was. But, they have always taken whatever we've put out. Never had one problem with them.

At this point in my life. I'm too old to train another dad-gum man.

In general. Our mortgage is a VA loan. All this confuses me. We are thinking of refinancing, but are not sure how one would go about it. I don't recall us having any closing cost when we bought the house. I think I will check with the original lender person, and see what we can do. Just lowering the interest would help.
-
Is all this info applicable to VA backed loans as well?

That works for some people. In our case it was just a matter of finding out the birth year, for us to know they had the wrong person.

My stepson is a Jr. we got a call once for him. One of the issues with this is that his birthday is the same as DH. Once I established that the call wasn't for DH, I told them SS does not live with us. He asked if I knew how to get in touch with him. I told him could try the county jail in the state I last knew he was in. They never called back.

$4 for admision $2 for skates, being a kid priceless
gog8tors replied to gog8tors's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I'm thinking I may have to do this more often. Maybe after my left wrist stops hurting. Yes, there was a fall or two. Still had a blast. -
I went skating with 12yr old today. I had so much fun. Tell me again why I stopped doing the things I used to when I was a kid?

Depends on which family I'm visiting. Little sister, I'm hanging out at her house. Big sister, I really do need to go see her soon. And I will be staying at a hotel. She is the only one I have still living "back home." No one comes to visit us. So on the rare occasions (mostly because I'm on the way to where ever) they might stop for a day.

I went and looked at now 7th graders report card (not really a card.) At the top where it has the homeroom class is where DS "P" is, meaning he passed. I am presuming that you are looking at the same type of paper. All the grades are number grades after that, there is a alpha, key at the bottom of the paper for you to translate the numbers to letter grades. By now you have probabley figured this out.
-
What grade is he in? The CRCT information tells you if he did not meet/met/or exceeded the scale thingy. A "P" could also just mean progressing.
